I purchased these for my BMW with the understanding that they are a Maximum Performance Summer tire and thus have a shorter tread life. These tires are remarkable!! Outstanding dry grip, surprisingly high grip in rain/wet conditions. This particular car doesn't get driven in the snow as THEY AER NOT SNOW TIRES!

I was very excited to place these rather expensive tires, (245/40R20 Pilot Sport 4S) on my 2015 Chevy Impala LTZ. Performance and ride were fantastic for the first 2000 miles. Then they started to get to get noisy, and I mean very LOUD! They make so much noise now, you can crank the Bose sound system to 10, and you can still hear them roaring! Handling is still exceptional, but the tire noise ruins the experience. I had these tires checked, for air pressure, alignment, rotated them, and still they seem to get louder, every mile I put on them. I've got less than 3000 miles on these tires and can't wait to replace them. What a shame, I love the way they handle, but it was a costly mistake.

I have had Nitto NT01s and Dunlops from the factory on the car. The way that 4S handle is incredible. lighter feel of the wheel, grip at every temperature, they dont have to be warm. wet weather traction is 95/100 amazing tire. will not use anything else!

This is a brand new tire and they discontinued what is the only tire size that can be put on a 2001-2004 ZO6 Corvette! I know that 28,388 may not be a sizeable enough market for such a large corporation, but no one else is making that size either so 100% market share seems pretty good to me...

I switched to the PS4S from an OEM run-flat, high performance summer tire of a different brand. We went on a 1,400 kilometre trip soon afterward that included western mountain roads, where the Michelins were outstanding. They took our sports car to a new level! Bonus: they ride much better, transmit less road noise, and do not ‘tramline' (lurch into pavement grooves and sags). They were well worth the price.

I bought these these tires for a new set of rims that are on my BMW M2 Competition. The tire performance of the 4S is improved over the OEM Pilot Sports. The driving dynamics and stability at the track exceeded expectations. Excellent wear characteristics with good feedback.

Michelin is usually my first choice, but the PS4S has a strange, imprecise feel, most noticeable when entering a fast, sweeping bend on the highway. The car feels like it yaws and wobbles before settling into a turn. The tire is also strangly loud over most highway surfaces, with an annoying, resonating howl. Definitely noisier than the older PS SuperSports were.

To date, I've only had the OEM Bridgestone Potenza summer run-flats and Blizzaks for the winter on my 2013 BMW 335is. I took the plunge this week and had the new Pilot Sport 4S installed and it has transformed the driving experience. The ride is smoother, quieter and grippier. I also notice an improvement in fuel ecconomy. My only disappointment is that I suffered with the OEM tires for a couple years! A road trip is imminent!

Changed out from the stock run-flats, which wore out so quickly and developed a drone overtime, to the Pilot Sport 4S. Cannot imagine going back at this point. Smooth, quiet, yet far more sticky which helps boost the confidence of the vehicle! Will definitely buy more in the future.

If you're considering this tire stop procrastinating and make the move. You will not regret it. With less than 300km in wet and drive conditions this tire comes to life. In addition to the standard Michelin warranty they also have a 50,000 km warranty. They back their product. Enough said. I have a staggered configuration so my warranty is half which makes sense. Again, if you're looking at the tire you're already in the party. As the saying goes, if you have to ask......
