Unlike some other brands, this doesn't have a chemical or plastic taste. My son prefers the 20oz bottles because the plastic is a little sturdier than the 16.9oz bottles.

It’s great when you can get it. I ordered for pick up because I have cancer and it’s difficult for me to get around. Sams will say there are none for pick up, yet I walk into the store and there is all kind of water with sports caps on the bottle. None they limit the amount. I’ve never known a limit when I do it myself. Poorly run store.

I purchased a case of ice mountain because the MMs bay was empty and I wasn’t patient enough to wait for an associate to get some down. Needless to say, I will definitely wait next time!! This has got to be the HARDEST water I’ve ever tasted, my plants don’t seem to mind it though.

Might seem odd, but the main reason why we exclusively must buy THIS brand is..., the bottles themselves. These bottles are sturdy, sort of. Nowadays, this has become rare among bottled water brands. They're about the only one that still feels like a bottle. I don't feeling like I'm drinking out of a zip lock and wearing water on my chest. Oh, and the water tastes good too. There is a difference, for those of us with taste buds. Definitely prefer the 20oz size. 5 cases is a staple for us. A little more during Rona. Fyi, the Danski(sp?) brand of bottled water also has sturdy bottles and tastes good. If memory serves, I believe its also purified vs spring water. Purified is a must IF your freezing the bottles, say for keeping your cooler cool. Thawed purified water remains crystal clear while thawed spring water is nasty. Here, we prefer the little 8oz. Ice Mt. purified bottles. PS. The IC 20 size is hard to find outside of a Sam's. It has become one of the reasons we still remain a Sam's member. That and the self checkout feature( the phone app). Our local Sam's closed a couple yrs ago so now it's a big trek to even go out to a Sam's. If only Sam's big much more conveniently located Costcompetitor Co would carry the IC 20 ouncers AND had the self check out app, hmmmmm.....

I've had a variety of brands of bottled water over the years (at a reasonable price; nothing "high end"), in cases, from vending machines, at concert venues, and the like. Ice Mountain is by far the best. It doesn't have the aftertaste that everything else I have tried does. I like to have a bottle in the car with me, and it's been weird during mask-mandated Covid times not to carry one into the carefully cleaned hair salon. The 20-oz. size is good for me, and the bottles--which do all get recycled--are sturdier than ones used in the slightly smaller bottles of Ice Mountain. Can't complain about not getting your money's worth, either, as they are almost always filled partway up the neck of the bottle.

I will only buy spring water. I do prefer Ice Mountain. The price seems a bit high but worth it.
