My daughter takes her Bentgo to school but recently got some tomato/pasta sauce on the outside rubber part and I was having a difficult time removing the stains. I contacted customer service and they offered some cleaning recommendations that I tried but unfortunately it didn't remove the stains. They went beyond and sent me a replacement! Great customer service and great product!

The Bentgo kids lunch box is a bento-style box with five compartments sized for children 3 to 7 years old or anyone will a smaller appetite, really. One compartment is perfectly sized for a half sandwich or small portion of leftovers (my grandson loves to have orange chicken in the "sandwich" compartment. There are varying size smaller compartments for snacks, fruit, yogurt, a bit of candy, dipping sauce, etc. The edges of the box are rubber coated making it easy for a child to hold the box and it not slip or helps it stay in place on a table. The latches are easy to open and close. The removable tray inside is dishwasher-safe (top rack) and can be microwaved (under 3 minutes). The lunch box carries a 2 year warranty, is made with food-grade materials and is BPA free. I would have rated this Bentgo Kids lunch box as 5 star if it had some sort of handle for days when you just need to carry the box on it's own. My son has been using this lunchbox everyday for school for a little over a year. We never put it in the dish washer. Only hand wash and air dry. I started noticing the rubber seal started to deteriorated and wore out. I stopped using this lunchbox to avoid my son eating the plastic. Overall, it is decent lunchbox with minor quality issue.

There are so many bento style boxes on the market and as a mom and daycare provider these have been the only ones I use and recommend for years. Are there the occasional broken clips, absolutely, because life happens but that does not ever warrant not purchasing it because their customer service is amazing and quick to respond and help. 10/10 every time! We also use the salad bowls and original bentgo box too and love them.

My grandkids and their cousins & friends love Bentgo. It started with one grandchild and then spread to cousins and friends. They love the colors and compartments; we love how easy it is to prepare school lunches with variety and the No Mess leak-proof technology. Also when one had a defect, it was cheerfully replaced by the great Customer Service.

This box is a great size for an adult or school age child. It has three compartments with the option of converting to four. The large compartment is big enough for a sandwich or salad. We don’t have any leaking problems. My kindergartener can open the box by herself at school with no problems. It’s easy to clean. Customer service is awesome too. I lost the insert and they were able to help me out. We love this brand… I just ordered more of the Bentgo kids box for my preschool child.

Cons: The inner plastic partition can be put on top rack of dishwasher, but I'd recommend only hand washing the outer shell because the silicone will warp. Even with the warping, the box opens and closes easily. Pros: Love the larger portion sizes as compared to other lunch boxes. Love the designs, and the matching back pack is very roomy and has a compartment for the lunch box. Excellent customer service. Will be repurchasing again, with the knowledge of proper cleaning.

When our daughter was getting ready for kindergarten we bought one of these to try out. I wanted to make sure I was packing balanced lunches that were easy for her to access. I fell in love with this so fast I bought a second one a week into school. I bought a third one the week after that, and now I’m ready to buy a fourth. I love that the tray is dishwasher safe, the colors and patterns are fun, and it helps me feel like I’m giving her a good portion size.

My absolute favorite. The perfect size for my daughter who has a big appetite. The portions are bigger than the bentgo kids. The color red has it's perfect shade of red not too loud. Easy clean up and through the years I don't notice any mold build up on the rubber gasket/sealer. Overall it's great for us. I just hope bentgo would come up with something that can retain hot food/insulated.

I love Bentgo lunch boxes. I use it for my 7 year old, 13 year old, and myself. There's a divider that you can use to create four compartments instead of three, which is great for those days when I make something that needs more space. Easy to clean and open/close.
