I usually love all Venus razors so I was excited to try the new Venus & Olay. I loved the shaving cream but the razor itself fell short of my expectations. The moisture bars fell off after the second use. I have very thick hair so I usually press down a little harder and everything completely came undone. Not a durable razor at all. I did like it for the first two uses but I wish it was more durable. It definately needs improvement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this razor! I have always loved Gillette. The handle is nice and does not slip out of your hand and with the 5 blades you get an extremely close shave! This razor left my legs feeling sooo smooth and soft. Love it !

I really like this product but, hate that it is so expensive and then does not last very long, +- a week. I also had cases where the gel strip would come right off. I would not mind paying for it, if it actually lasted, but now I am a bit hesitant towards it.

The head of this razor has two strips on it which moisturize your legs so there is no need for any shaving creams. Just wet your legs and you are good to go! The shave is really easy, as the razor just glides over your skin, without leaving cuts or anything nasty. The quality of the shave is next to none, and the best I have ever experienced. It is really close and leaves my legs shiny, smooth and flawless. I couldn't recommend it more.

That said, it does not make up for the fact that it does not perform as well as other razors I have tried do. Other Gilette Venus razors, for example, provide a closer shave than this one does. Even though it smells great, and the handle feels luxuriously weighty, the fact that it does not shave as closely as my preferred razors makes this a no-go for me.

The handle is heavy, made of metal, and you just replace the blade part as needed! Honestly, I go way to fast when shaving, and even if I don't, I end up with razor burn and cuts on my legs every single time! I wasn't sure about not having to use any cream or lotion to shave, but I tried it with this new fangled razor and all I can say is WOW! No cuts, no messy foam everywhere, and perfect glide! Plus, the scent is light, but very nice and natural! Please keep making these type of razors, and I'll keep buying them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a neat concept for a razor to provide the lather along with the razor. When you use it it doesn't even seem like you're shaving. I stand the razor up after use so that it dries out the soap which is attached.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Gillette Venus razors, I’ve been a long time user of their products. The first thing that caught my attention with this product is that I am able to use other refills that I currently have from a previous rancor handle with this one. Now I don’t have to buy a new handle or a whole new kit due to this. The Comfortglide feels very nice on my skin, almost as if I am moisturizing myself while shaving. I like that it doesn’t leave any scents or have any smells though it is coconut. It cuts very well with thin and longer hair. The handle is comfortable and doesn’t feel cheaply made like other plastic or disposable razors. It has a good grip even when wet. I have nothing but good feedback for all their products and definitely recommend!
