[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I tried the Gillette Venus Comfort Glide razor and the first insert broke after using it and both inserts I got in the box did not get a very close shave at all. It felt like my legs were smooth from the olay moisture bars but that it didn't cut the hair. I used both inserts and both were the same results. Maybe because it flexed and moved so much that it did not get close enough to shave well. I shave every other day or every 3 days so there is not a lot of hair. I made sure I was shaving the right way with the blades the right way and even shaved without shaving cream. It just didn't make my legs feel smooth and hairless like other razors it felt like it soaped it up really good but just didn't shave. I am really sad and would lile to try it again. Just don't drop the razor because the head of the insert can snap from the prongs and break off. I really really enjoyed the moisture bars. I loved how they made it nicer to shave even with and without shave cream. I did get this complimentary to try for testing purposes and these opinions here are based on my own experiences.

I bought this razor, and it lasted me two uses. The holster to keep it on the shower wall did not stay up, and as for the razor itself -- the moisture strips dissolve extremely fast, and the orange strip fell off during my second use, because it was so worn. Also, the size of the moisture strips keeps the blades from reaching your skin all the way, unless you manipulate the razor and triple-check every part of your legs (or wherever you are shaving). I will not be re-purchasing this product.

This is one of the best razors I have ever used and will continue to use from here on out... I love that it gilds smooth and does not catch on your skin making it easier to get razor cut, it makes my legs feel smooth I love the way the covers feel on my legs after I get out of the shower with my new fresh shaved legs...... I will not use another razor this will be my go to razor for the rest of my life.... Thank Venus for making shaving that much more better!!!:)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Venus Comfort glide razor is good for a quick & close shave. The built in moisturizing gel bar is very convenient, you don't really need to use a shaving cream with this razor. The 5 blades plus the gel bar give you a close & smooth shave.

I end up with bad razor burn, ingrown hairs or I have even had some where my legs don't feel shaved. So far I am happy with this Venus razor. No ingrown hairs, no razor burn and best thing ever my legs are smooth. I am actually thinking of going and buy some shorts this year! Works great and leaves my legs feeling smooth.

I love Venus. It's the only brand of razor I buy. I decided to try out the Venus Olay thinking it would be fabulous. And it was the first time. The second shave a little less so. The third time I used it, it left so much stubble my husband could even feel it! That's saying a lot because he has very rough hands and can't usually feel if I have stubble on my legs. It made me really mad and now I have two razor heads left that I feel obligated to use because I spent so much on them, but they suck. :( Very very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this razor. It leaves my legs feeling so smooth and moisturized. I have very dry skin, and this razor does not make it worse. It helps! It is sharp enough to shave my legs with very little pressure applied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Venus razors. They’re the only ones that don’t dull after one use and require multiple swipes to truly get my legs nice and smooth. I think these blades are also better than some other with lotion or moisturizing bars. They don’t get quite as sticky as some. The razor handle also feels nice and sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor keeps your skin silky smooth. I love the moisturizing part of the razor. It keeps my skin from breaking out. I use this on my underarms, bikini area, and legs. I think this would work for me. Or women.

I really like this product but, hate that it is so expensive and then does not last very long, +- a week. I also had cases where the gel strip would come right off. I would not mind paying for it, if it actually lasted, but now I am a bit hesitant towards it.
