Overall, I absolutely love these razors! I've tried quite a few different kinds and I would have to say that these are by far my favorite. There really is no need for shave gel/soap as long as the shave gel bars are still intact, and as a person who constantly nicks herself, these make it much harder to do so, but once again, as long as the shave gel bars are still intact. I read other reviews about people who say the bars come right off but I've never once had that happen. I also read some that say that the bars don't last or disintegrate within the first shave and that has not happened to me either. With my experience they last a decent amount of time. They make for a very quick, close, comfortable shave and I would recommend them to anybody.

I did not have to use extra product like shave gel with the added moisture strips. They gave enough lubricant to help it glide. It gave a nice smooth shave. It has a light scent nothing over powering.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Olay, so I was excited to find out that they teamed up with Venus to create a moisturizing razor head. Even before shaving I was greeted with a lovely coconut scent. At first I was afraid that the moisturizing bars would break off, but they seem surprisingly flexible and have held up against everything I've thrown at them. I love that they have body butter to soothe my skin as I shave. The blades are no joke. They get a lot of hair in one sweep and make shaving my legs a breeze. The refills are easy to attach and work perfectly. My legs feel great after using this product, very smooth and moisturized, so I'd recommend it.

Love this product, I have had the purple colored handled Venus shaver for a long time. I saw the Ad for the yellow one with Olay and wanted a change. When I saw it in person it is more of a gold color than a yellow, I was looking for a bright burst of sunshine for the spring/summer... who knows maybe they will make a lemon colored one soon!

It can be hard to be precise with such a big blade, but the added soap moisturizes my legs as I go along. It keeps my legs soft and works in smaller areas too. Great quality blade with a heavy handle, which helps a ton when I shave.

The razor has a smooth feel and has a body butter on both ends of the razor so I can use this with shaving cream or without. This is a great razor to use on the go since the moisture bars are built in. The razor has a good grip especially when it gets wet in the shower.

I think this razor/comfort strip is fantastic -- so fantastic that I spent more to have it versus other comfort-strip multiple-blade razor refills. The smoothness was unparalleled, but the comfort strips fell off after 2 shaves, so imagine my disappointment. I blamed myself for leaving it on the edge of the tub -- afterall, it may've gotten wet and that would cause even the most durable comfort strips to melt off. But then it happened to the second refill (which I hung religiously on the hook) and the third! I'll NOT be spending more for these razors when the feature that makes them unique is so short-lived.

I was amazed, and happy, to realize that the razor IS that comfortable! Every time that I use it I can't believe how it glides, including over the 'uneven' areas. True comfort.
