I'm going to be honest, I was introduced to Fat Tire while in college and found it to be a good beer, however, I soon forgot about it. Awash in microbrews in the ensuing years, until one day I was served an ad for a rebranded Fat Tire. Frankly, I was angry that a good beer would need rebranding and an updated recipe and was determined even more not to drink it. Then my family and I relocated to CO and found ourselves in Ft. Collins. My wife and I had been trying to get to the New Belgium brewery for a tour for a decade. We finally did and the tour was phenomenal. It really blew our hair back. I was coaxed into trying Fat Tire again and you know what, it was equally amazing. I have been buying twelve packs on the regular since. I even picked-up one of New Belgium's rad corduroy Fat Tire hats. It's a stunner and I am a proud supporter. Keep rolling New Belgium. You're doing it right.

I did have to make sure the beer was really cold for me to enjoy it but my husband on the other hand liked the beer all around. I will definitely be purchasing this beer again in the near future.

While it won't blow your socks off or anything, it is a dependable American beer for nearly any occasion. It seems that every beer these days tries to add odd flavors or themes in order to catch the public eye, I like that fat tire is able to just be a standard American ale without any gimmicks. That being said it has enough flavor to stand out from the competition without having extreme levels of hops that while melt your tongue. All and all I would give Fat Tire a solid 6.2 out of 10 on a Portnoy scale.

Ol’ Faithful is her name, she always smells the same. Beautiful aroma! Give her a taste and she knocks your shoes off everytime. She’s a keeper. She’s not big, she’s not bold, just right. Beautiful straw color with bubbles running through her veins. Cheers to Fat Tire

My old friends and I were having a get together and I filled the cooler with 2 types of beer. Fat Tire and a competetor. The Fat Tire got depleted and nobody wanted the other. So we ordered more to the house! That says something right there! One heck of a girls nignt!
