I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. In my opinion Fat Tire is an excellent Belgium style beer. It's always refreshing and not as heavy as other beers. I like the packaging and bold lettering which makes it easy to find at stores.

I have drank a hundred bottles of the new recipe and it is no where near as good as the real "since 1991" recipe. It's not the same beer and it is now a low brow hipster beer with no body or original soul, shame on new belgium Please remove "since 1991" from the labeling as it's not the same recipe. You have dropped your flagship beer for a completely new recipe in a new can/label and for some reason called it fat tire. Lame new beer. Don't call it fat tire as it's insulting to those that have been drinking real fat tire daily for 20 years.

Well, I'll let you know first of all that I am not a "craft beer connoisseur". I can't tell you about hoppiness, or notes of certain flavors or whatnot... I can only tell you about taste. Fat Tire tastes good. It's one of the only beers I can actually stomach. See, I think most beer tastes like, well, the fluid that comes out of most living creatures. You know, the fluid that makes yellow snow? Yeah, that's what I think most beers taste like. New Belgium's Fat Tire Ale doesn't taste like that. It tastes like beer. Good beer. Perfect for a hot summer's day. Perfect for grillin' and chillin'. Perfect for the first day of autumn. However and wherever you like to enjoy a cold one, Fat Tire was made for that. Not to mention you can feel better about yourself while drinking Fat Tire, because it's carbon neutral. If something being carbon neutral doesn't matter to you, then just drink it because it tastes good. Impress your friends, and drink something that is just fancy enough, but not too fancy. Definitely give Fat Tire a try - if I like it, there is a chance most people will.

My favorite thing is how full-bodied the taste is, yet still light enough that it also isn't overdone. I haven't finished the beer I opened so I don't have a good gauge on the effect. If I include a comment on how it can be improved, though not absolutely necessary: the taste could be stronger and/or to add in additional flavor.

When I saw that they work to reduce emissions, I was on board. Same taste, environmentally friendly. What not to like? I think the taste changed to something lighter, which I prefer over the previous version. I'd enjoy this more regularly.

Fat Tire Ale is a great everyday summer beer that goes well with BBQ or chips & salsa! Highly recommend!

It had been some time since I'd had a Fat Tire beer and I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful it was while still feeling light and crisp. The fact that it's a carbon neutral company increases the overall appeal, but the taste is also good enough that I would select Fat Tire over most other domestic beer options.
