I did not choose these CC2 tires for my new to me 2011 Volvo S60 T6 AWD. I found them noisy on smooth roads. On paved country roads that are not the best of surfaces you can feel and hear most small bumps. They transfer the noise and feel of road irregularities into the Vehicle cabin. We have purchased many sets of Michelins tires throughout my 60 years of driving. I’m 75 now. We buy Volvos and Mercedes and often have 4 to 5 cars licensed and insured ready to go. These CC2 are very new less than 5000km. I might switch them to another of our cars or hope they wear out soon. In the plus side they have good traction when cornering a bit aggressively. I guess I’ll have to wait until it rains to check out their wet characteristics.

Purchased a set of CrossClimate 2 tires in September of 2022 for my 2012 Volvo XC90 to replace a set of worn Michelin Defenders which were great tires lasting 65,000 miles. My XC90 has 208,000 miles. 1 year and 40,000 miles later, the tires are at 7/32 with even wear. I perform rotations and balancing (if needed) every 5,000 miles. These tires have been AMAZING. They are quiet, provide amazing performance, and are wearing very well. I live in Minnesota and travel to Salt Lake City/Park City frequently. These tires are almost as good in the snow/ice as the Blizzaks I have on my 2017 Volvo XC90 in the cold months. Last winter was brutal, so drove many miles through a lot of snow/ice/slush/rain and had absolutely zero problems. They are PHENOMENAL in snow and rain, and great highway tires. They have tolerated chains in the mountains without any unusual wear. I have not had any decrease in fuel economy. I like them so much, I just replaced the Defenders on my other XC90 with a set of CrossClimate 2 tires. When it’s time, I’ll also put a set on my 2018 Volvo V60. Reading other reviews, I was reluctant to try these, but obviously my experience has been great. Perhaps my priorities are different because of the frequent severe weather I experience, but I love these tires.

I bought these tires for my VW Passat. I have ave a steep driveway. In the winter it was a real problem for my Hankook all season tires. When I saw the tread pattern on these tires it made me think of the treads on a snowmobile. I took a shot on them. I couldn't be happier. These tires rip up my driveway with ease. They also have incredible grip going down the snowy driveway. These tires are the best tires I've ever had. Thanks Michelin!

This is my first set of CrossClimate 2s, and I have been very impressed with performance - dry and wet traction, and have proven to be very quiet. I have about 2,500 miles on the tires so far, so we'll see how the wear, but I anticipate that they'll be just fine.

I drive for Uber-- 50,000+ miles a year in Ohio. With over 11000 trips, these tires have out-performed all expectations. Great traction--even in Ohio winter conditions. Improved gas mileage and much quieter than the equivalent Goodyear's 'best' I had before. I am about to replace my tires again--and I am not looking around--these tires are the best for every day use.

Overall these are good tires and I am glad I bought them. First, even though they are “all weather” and usuable year round, I swap them out for dedicated winter tires, so I cannot comment on how they preform in severe winter conditions. However, soon after putting them on this spring (March 2024), we had a few cm’s of snow in the Toronto area. They handled this spring snowfall and resulting messy roads effortlessly. In normal commuter driving around the city and during one long distance highway trip I have taken, they have preformed very well in all aspects, steering, braking, accelerating and ride, whether it is sunny or wet, the road is perfect or bumpy. The one draw back is there is some tread growl. I drive a 2017 Mazda 3, which isn’t a whisper quite car, and the tread noise tends to blend in with the normal Mazda sound in a way that does not make it annoying. However if quiet running is a key priority for you, there are probably other tires that will better meet your needs.

Much better than expected.  Really good in the deep wet snow.   Excellent in wet.  Also good on dry, in fact very good. I run studded Michelin North 4 in winter for our brutal climate (calgary) but I had to leave them on late into the spring as we get late snow and my summers were performance summers and you dont dare go on any snow what so ever.  Three sets is too much for 90 percent of drivers but this saves my studs for the dec / jan feb when I need then.  In fact they are so good on dry that when my performance summers wear out i'll just use these. in my size.  225/40/18    the Cross climate 2 are 90 percent of my pilot sports   The compromise for winter was not as much as I was expecting and the same for summer ,  They are a tiny bit noisy compares to a luxury touring tire.

Just got these this week for my 2019 Lexus ES and WOW, what a difference. These tire track like I'm on rails. Steering feedback is greatly improved and the drive is much improved. With the full depth tread, I'm expecting no change in ride quality as they wear. Very glad I chose these.

We purchased a 2018 Mercedes Benz GLC 300 with run-flat tires. I was going to need snow tires plus a set of all season tires plus a set of wheels since I don't like run-flats and wanted to replace them. My service tech advised me to go for the CrossClimate2 and I am so glad I did. They handle very well in all conditions and saved me a pile of cash. They are a little noisier than all season tires but well worth that slight compromise. They were installed in Oct, 2020.

Purchased the CrossClimate2 tires for my 2020 Subaru Ascent four months ago. A big improvement over the tires that came with the car. They are less noisy and handle better. I haven’t driven them on snow or ice, but I expect that they will perform well in those conditions.
