Why dont they make this in a 225/50/18 I just got a 2017 subaru legacy 3.6R Limited and they made the pilot sport a/s 3's in that size in a W speed rating, I'm looking for new tires to improve the ride and handling and everything about my car, but why should I go with a michelin if I have to settle for the old technology in the a/s 3? The a/s 4 is the newer successor with more and better technology, I got a subaru with all wheel drive so I can run a sportier tire all year long with my geographic area with occasional snow, I might just have to settle for an all season tire without a sport focus, which I dont want to do, I want an all season with a sport focus, but why should I go with an a/s 3 when there is a newer tire in the a/s 4? The answer to that is because unfortunately the a/s 4 is not available in my size, and I don't want to go with a nonfactory size either, troubling matter for a loyal michelin fan like myself, just wondering if their are plans at all to bring the a/s 4 to the market in more sizes at all? If so, i'd be interested in possibly getting some, have not actually bought the product, my ratings are just based off of my experience with michelin products in general, which have been pretty good, really honestly interested in either the cross climate 2 in the 225/50/18 in a v speed rating or higher or the a/s 4 in a w speed rating or higher, I have no use for the cross climate suv tire in my size which is designed with too high of a load rating for my sedan which would ultimately only result in an unnecessarily harsh ride since my vehicle is somewhat lighter weight, not much tire support for my vehicle in this size from michelin unfortunately, at least no tire support in the tire models that I want :(

I drive a RWD P85+ Tesla Model S, which is both heavy and up until last winter had staggered 21” wheels. I was used to buying a new set of Pilot Sport 4S for the rear every 10-12k miles, which is to be expected, but not welcomed on that setup. I switch to 20” square rims front and aft, and also switched to Pilot Sport AS 4’s ,245/45/ZR20 99Y, and couldn’t be happier. Now that I can rotate tires life if grand. I’m used to extremely irregular wear and regular pinch flats, but I’ve got things nailed down now. Tire wear with theses tire is even, traction is more than adequate and tire noise is drastically reduced.

I just got a set of All Season 4s after running the previous set since 2020. Before replacing them, I took the old set to the track, and even below 2/32" tread depth, they provided remarkable grip and performance.​ The new tires feel outstanding. Got these not too long ago and they're a great daily tire. Quiet and very comfortable for a performance tire, my car is lowered too. I got these to replace my AS/3s since those were so good. The tire has excellent dry grip and very good wet grip. I haven't had a chance to test snow grip yet, but if the AS/3 was anything to go by, I am not worried about it one bit. I just had a chance to take the car to the track and the tires were great there as well. I never felt like the tires were going to let me go off track unless I wanted to, and I was full tilt out there. Managed to pass up a 350Z in my 200hp Acura and didn't get caught by the Focus RS or the Roush Mustang. That was a very twisty course where grip was key, and it never let me down. The tires lost a little grip after some very hard laps on a hot track, but I doubt any other all season would do better being pushed like that. They would have been fine after half a slow lap, and the brakes were cooking worse than the tires by that point.

There is a reason OEMs choose Michelin. The Tesla model S must have smooth, quiet tires that absorb various road imperfections and maintain good handling characteristics. Road noise is a big concern when driving a vehicle that has no drivetrain noise.

Tire has amazing qualities in which i love. Tread will not keep up the 45,000 miles in which is stated. 255/40/ZR21 & 265/40/ZR21 Are the tire sizes i own. I can not purchase Hazard Insurance due to size of tire, thankfully i have not had an instance which requires it but its good to have. Please create a tire for winter for these sizes. Much appreciated!

These tires are a huge upgrade for me. Comfort, handling and traction are all greatly improved. It’s the one repair I’ve made to my car that I can feel an immediate difference with. They seem durable so far, only been a week and two days, but I have noticed they aren’t all that quiet. That could be do to the materials used to build my vehicle too though.

Bought these tires for the wife's car, she seems happy. Car had from the factory "run flat" tires on it. These are not run flats(thankfully). Car rides much nicer. She is happy. Draw back is now I have to get an extra wheel for a spare, which I would prefer anyway, remember tires do come apart sometimes, run flat or regular tire.

Replaced the old Stock Pilot Super Sports on my ‘19 Z06 Convert with a fresh set of Pilot Sport A/S 4’s. Absolutely love them. Pilot Sport A/S 4’s are rated for hot and cold ambients, dry, rain, and even snow. The perfect tire for northern state roads and highways. The Ackerman effect with tight turns, hydroplaning on rainy roads and pebble showers on the bottom of the car common with Pilot Super Sports is gone. The A/S 4’a are definitely quieter than the Pilot Super Sports. The A/S 4’s may have a bit less traction on hot dry track days but I’ll never miss it. I’d much rather have the extended driving season with the A/S 4’s . Thank you Michelin!

Mounted these tires on my Mazda 3 GT in May of 2021. Got about 7,000 on them now and I have been well pleased with their performance. Seems I chicken out before these things reach their limit as I have yet to have them squawk back to me during sever cornering, severe stopping, severe acceleration, ( well it's a four banger should just call it snappy acceleration).The performance is just outstanding in all conditions. I would like to find some fault with them but I have nothing to complain about. Good job big ol squeezy Michelin Man.
