I like this wine! I don’t really drink reds because they cause me to turn red (I think it’s the sulfites) but this one didn’t cause a reaction. It’s not to sweet and not too dry.

This one is fantastic! I’d like to drink it on a cold night or with a wonderful steak dinner. We tried it at a winetasting at her home and it was definitely a hit! I would definitely recommend this wine it’s enjoyable alone or with a company.

I love the Apothic brand, but this one disappointed. It’s like the tried to hard, it was a mix of too many different tastes and way too sweet for my taste. Apothic ruined a beautiful thing. Don’t let this one scare you away from the brand!!

Paired with a thick med rare Steak, asparagus and rosemary garlic mashed potatoes—this was perfect. Not too dry to leave you thirsty but not so flavorful it took away from meal. Could stand on its own.

This is aged in whiskey barrels so it had my attention right away (love me some whiskey!). It has a nice richness and full body without being too heavy. Definitely recommend trying it if you like bolder reds.

Good bold flavor. Has a little spicy note on the end which I think adds to the character of this wine. Better for sipping alone than with a meal as well. Good red blend for the price.

Great, amazing full body Wine. Taste amazing with Steak and Potatoes. Has the taste you'd expect from Apothic. Would 100% reccomend this wine to my family and Friends

I'm stepping away from the really sweet wines because let's face it, the alcohol content is pretty low! I recently started testing out red wines and this one was perfect! I believe it has 15% alcohol in the bottle which is PLENTY even for 1 glass! 

My friend and I went half on a baby for a case of these. There was a time when they were hard to come by. They are bold and fantastic with a steak or duck med rare! Will buy again and again

I’m only giving this three stars because it was so strong and so bitter it hurt to drink it. Might as well have drank straight liquor. It’s still a very good flavor I like it better than the original red wine for taste.
