This is by far my favorite apothic wine! It has such an amazing flavor, distilled in whisky barrels truly makes for a bold flavor. I will almost always grab a bottle of this if it's available where I'm shopping, because I love the taste, warm, malty, and filled with the an enjoyable after taste!

This is my all time favorite wine. Being a whiskey and wine lover the warmth this wine brings to my life is incredible. My husband and I enjoy this wine as often as possible and never forget to buy a case or two! The subtle oaky flavors mixed with the incredible wine flavors that Apothic always bring to the table, will leave your mouth watering for more!!

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this wine because it's distilled in whiskey barrels. It is so good though! It has really bold flavors, but they aren't overpowering. This wine is great for sipping on a chill night at home. I would recommend this wine to anyone who likes wines with strong aromas and flavors.

Love love love this wine! Aged in whiskey barrels it has a distinct taste that brings an edge and a kick to the flavor. It also is 13% alcohol per volume I believe so don’t drink too many glasses before knowing that;) I buy at least one bottle a week! I highly recommend to all!

Not my favorite from the apothecary line but still really good, the taste is a bit strong if you’re not prepared for it but it’s still a solid 10/10 wine my fiancé couldn’t finish hers but I was more than happy to do it for her , I would definitely recommend this

It is what it is: an industrially made wine product, devoid of any character or characteristic varietal profile. And yes, be cautious of the hangover: most CA wine under a certain price point is beefed up with fake flavors and colorings, just one glass gives me an intense headache.

This is great to have with a nice dinner. My boyfriend is not a huge win fan, but since you can taste the bourbon in it he can actually tolerate this one. Well priced and very accessible. Would recommend if you like red wine but do not want something super dry.

If you love bold wines, this is something for you. The flavor of oak is extremely prominent in this wine, which for me is a good thing. Despite the higher ABV, the oak keeps everything nice and smooth. This is big and bold and would be great paired with a steak, lamb, or a fireplace in the winter.

I am a huge wine fan but not a whiskey fan, however this wine is delicious! It has a higher alcohol content so it made me a little sleepy. The bold flavors would pair really well with a red sauce pasta. I have just found my new favorite wine! I will say this isn’t for everyone though, but give it a try

I got this as a gift and wouldn’t have picked it on my own, but I really enjoyed it. I’m not much of a wine drinker, and reds are my least favorite. This one, however, was really nice. It had the red wine bitterness that usually turns me off, but I felt like the bitterness fit well into the complexity of the flavor, instead of taking over, if that makes sense.
