I had Michelin Defender tires for 2 years. They were awesome! These tires really stuck to the road, and I felt safe even when it rained. They hardly wore out, so I didn't have to buy new ones. It was like having a reliable friend on the road. I'll definitely get them again. Great tires!

I had installed these on my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee a week ago after running on the factory tires. These are very quiet tires and handle great in wet weather. I like the smooth soft ride these tires give. I am a very happy customer. Thanks Michelin.

I bought these tires for my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. These are by far the best tires I have ever owned. They are a 5 star in every category. They ride like a dream and are super smooth and quiet. The traction in the rain is phenomenal. Absolutely no hydroplaning. They grip the road and don't budge no matter how wet the road is. I am more than anxious for the snow so I can see how they handle in snow. I average 75 - 80 mph and they just glide. No bumpy ride and definitely not noisy. I love these tires! Worth every penny!

I have bought four sets of OEM LTX M/S Michelin Tires for my 2007 Honda Ridgeline. On the fifth set I purchased the LTX M/S Defender Series and LOVE them. Makes for a very very smooth ride. If you stuck a penny in the tread to check depth - the Defender would eat it! I was debating about straying from the OEM LTX M/S as I have been extremely pleased. When I read the reviews about the Defender I was impressed and now I know why! Even better performance than the previous great tires with traction, ride and braking. Also, OEM is 60K mileage and the Defender is 70K and only $2 more each - Great job Michelin!

I just had 4 new Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires installed on my 2004 Suburban. Just driving home from the service shop felt like I was driving a new vehicle. The ride was smoother, quieter, and more responsive. I had researched for weeks in advance to making the decision to go with Michelin and I am very glad I did. I feel Michelin did their homework with this tire design and definitely got it right.

I have 30k on these tires and they wore abnormally down the middle, despite keeping proper air pressure and rotating them. The original LTX M/S2 tires were the best tire I ever owned and what made me a Michelin customer. These new Defenders may look like the old design, but are clearly inferior.

I am a recently retired Fleet Manager with 40 years managing a large municipal fleet including Fire and Emergency Services vehicles and in my career Michelin has always been my number one choice for all on road units. The quality of the defender tire no only provides an excellent ride on my truck but also great tread wear which equals long life and economical operation costs.

Last week I had 4 new defender ltx tires mounted and balanced (P265/60r18). About 100 miles later the whole rear end of my truck now shakes like crazy when traveling between 55-60mph. I drove right back and they tell me that my rear 2 tires have "factory defects". I'm having them replaced tomorrow.

I have owned multiple sets of Michelin LTX tires on my trucks through out the years and have always had a great service from them.. until now with the LTX Defender tires. I bought these tires to replace a very worn set of OEM BF Goodrich tires that came on my truck. After 3 separate tire shops attempts at balancing the tires I am still left with a very significant amount of vibration at speeds over 50 mph. Very disappointing to say the least!

After purchasing another brand, I turned around and bought the michelins like I should have. Smooth and extremely quiet ride. I got 80,000 miles from my last set. Gravel roads don't chew up the tread like on other brands. Worth the money in the long run.
