Our Ford Edge is six years old with 40,000 miles and I recently replaced the original equipment Michelin tires with Michelin Defender XLT tires. They have a good looking profile and preform well on wet roads. I am confident as I face the oncoming Winter.

I love these tires. When I say these tires have superior traction, I've had tires for six months and i driven through mud, wet grass and wet pavement and these tires never loss traction. I love them and I recommend them to anybody who drives a truck! One more thing, these tires make a truck look so good!

I came to know about Michelin LTX's while I was the shop forman at a large dealership dealing with alot of complaints about front tires whitling off on the edges. After checking front ends for alignments issues still had problems with competors tires replaced them with Michelin LTX and problem went away. I belive it is due to the excelent sidewall constrution of the tire preventing tire rollover, this also is why Michelin is the only tire I will put on my vehicles because the better the sidewall constrution, the better the ride .

I purchased my first set of Michelin tires 20 years ago, and was so impressed I haven't considered any other tires since! The current tires on my truck have in excess of 50,000 miles and still look like they have close to 50% tread left and ride and handle as good as they ever did. Still the best tires money can buy!!

I think these tires should receive 5 stars but the price are on the high side. When I go into tire stores I have to hagel with them for my Michelins. I have three trucks and my daughter has two. All but one has Michelins on them. When it's time for the Explorer I'll put Michelin on it. I like not to keep buying tires, I'd like to buy them once.

I bought this set of Defender LTX M/S tires last week for my 2021 RAM 1500 Limited. As soon as I started driving the truck with the new tires I couldn’t help but notice how much smoother and quieter my ride was. Now this truck already rides like a fine luxury car but the difference these tires make is very noticeable to me. In addition to the comfort improvement you won’t find a better tire for wet traction any where. I have owned 5 sets of these tires between my wife’s 4Runners and my trucks and truly believe these are the safest and best tires you can buy especially for highway use. They last a long time too. They are not the cheapest but are the best and in the long run the best value for keeping you safe and getting long service from the tires.

I have nothing but good things to say about the LTX M/S. Having 5 daughters playing hockey, I have had many miles driving on these tires. I have driven through many snow storms and unplowed roads. Traction has been wonderful. One trip to Duluth Minnesota we experienced a storm which closed the city. Duluth is pretty hilly, the amount of snow we had to navigate was challenging. One of the parents thought I had four wheel drive. He could not believe it was only two wheel drive and was impressed how well the Michelin tires performed. Bib would be proud. I have convinced two friends to change to Michelin and they have been very happy with them. When its time for new tires I know they will be Michelin.

I am 61 years old and I have only used Michelin tires for all of my vehicles. These tires last and last and continue to provide a smooth ride through out the life of the tire. Last winter we had a tremendous snow storm and even thought my tires had 70,000 miles on them, they performed like the were new on my 4 wheel drive. This spring I replaced the set with another MTS set and expect no difference in the ride nor mileage for years to come. Thanks Michelin for making such great tires!

These are the best tires I have ever owned. They are my second set and I plan on putting a set of Michelins on my wife's Honda CR-V next month. As far as use, I am a licensed Private Investigator and basically follow people for a living. I drive approximately 30,000 miles a year and many of these miles I am forced to drive faster and harder than I normally would under regular conditions and these tires handle well and have never failed me. Lastly, we own 3 vehicles and I check the tire pressure once a month on all three and I rarely have to add air.

I have used other brands of tires in the past and they haven't lasted as long as the Michelin's. I had them on my 1994 S-10 4WD Blazer and they lasted seven years for me and they will last probably another year or two for the person that I sold it too this past summer. Michelin tires seem to be the best for sidewall stability and long tread life. I will buy some again soon when I can save up enough money for the LTX M/S^2 LT285/70/R17 for my Expedition.
