Overall Performance and Tread life

TURANZA QUIETTRACK is a great performing tire meeting all my driving needs in the Northeast USA. The tread life is not as good as expected and the tires were rotated every 5,000 miles. I'm replacing the TURANZA QUIETTRACK after 35,000 mile with another set of TURANZA QUIETTRACK, since I'm satisficed with the overall performance. The Bridgestone Rewards Program is too slow and Rebates should take no longer than 4-6 weeks. In the last two months I have purchased a total of (6) six Bridgestone tires.

Highly Recommended - 2nd pair - drove six years

Well I finally made almost 80,000 miles on my old Turanza Quiet Track tires. I rotated when I was suppose to and they still had tread on them but they were six years old so I had to get new ones because they are guaranteed five years or 80,000 miles. Well I learned a great lesson! Frank told me last year I needed new tires, but no I just had to drive to my 80,0000 miles... Now that I have my new set of Turanza's I can feel the difference!!!! I park my car outside and my tires get exposed to lots of HEAT! I should have bought my new set at 5 years!!!! My lil Honda rides smooth, quiet and can make bumps in the road a smooth transition on Me, my passengers and my car.

Great tire when new, wore out fast

The tread pattern is very good, and has lead to great traction on dry pavement as well as REALLY good wet weather traction too. That being said, for being an 80,000 mile tire, they have worn down INCREDIBLY fast! At under 20,000 miles my fronts are at 4/32" and rears are 5-6/32". The tire brand new doesn't come with much tread depth to start, which is likely the problem. But it is a problem that Bridgestone needs to resolve. For this expensive of a tire, this should not be happening. I thought when they in were new that maybe the compound would be super strong and not wear down quickly since the tread depth was so low, but that is not the case. It's a very fast wearing tire.

Reliable Traction in wet conditions

We've tried to find a tire cheaper than the Michelins and Pirellis for this car, and settled on the Turanza. Although prices have gone up, the quality of these tires are quite constant and having them on the car gives my wife an added sense of assurance on wet and wintry roads.

Quiet and Comfortable Ride

Would have to say that I am more than happy with Quiettrack. I drive strictly highway miles at 55 to 70mph everyday for a round trip of 170 miles per day. The traction is excellent and does very well in wet or snow conditions. As the tire came into its 65000 mile age it became less effective in snow and was a safety hazard. So new tires went on. This is my second set on this car and I would recommend to anyone. A little pricey , but you get what you pay for in a tire.

Avoid these tires at all cost

I'll never buy Bridgestone tires or a vehicle with the on it ever again, and caution anyone I know against it. These tires are rated at least for 50k and at 36k with regular maintenance and rotate @ each 5k and alignment checked and adjusted once as well during as needed. Tires started cupping to the point they had to be replaced. OE tires dealership wont warranty and told me 15-20k these have to be replaced usually. Never again Bridgestone.

Durability of the tires are not so great

I purchased my car in October of 2019, it came with the Turanza tires and I only drive them for 35,000 miles and my dealership told me I should replace them due to low thread level, it is NOT what I expect from Bridgestone as those tires should last close to 80,000 miles as advertised.

Tires lasted only 40-45% of Life

After just 31,000 miles of modest driving, I'm down to only 3/32 tread left on this Turanza Quiettrack. These tires are supposed to be 80k mile tires, yet so many reviews found here and elsewhere, specifically since the start of 2023, are rightfully criticizing the durability of this tire. Many people are experiencing less than 35k miles on this 80k tire. This tire was released about 3 to 4 years ago, and now we see the true life of this tire. I'm curious why recent reviews on this Turanza page are written for the Alenza tire. That is supposedly a different tire, but those reviews are starting to appear hear. This is peculiar.

Dry Rot

Last year I was told by a firestone tech that my tires had dry Rot, the tires were then 6 years old. I was told to make an appointment so management could look at them. I was told at the appointment that there was no dry Rot. Earlier this year same thing occured, with one exception rather than making an appointment I popped in and asked if they had time to look at them. They did and said no dry Rot. This past week same thing, a tech checking my tire pressure told me they have dry Rot. I immediately asked for others to look at them. I have 2 tires that are 2015, originals and 2 that were replaced on road hazard. The 2 that are from 2015 show dry Rot. For the first 4 years the car was driven a few times a week maybe 50 miles a week. The car was parked in a garage when not being driven. I bought these tires because of the 80k warranty. In the last 3 years the car has been driven much more and spent time outside. The tires still have plenty of thread, probably around 25k. The manager at Firestone informed me that even though there are still miles left on the warranty and I had purchased road Hazzard, the tires are not covered for dry Rot after 5 years. He made it clear by his tone and and posturing he was not open to any discussion. I will never buy tires with high mileage warranty again. I have been a loyal Firestone customer for 30 years...obviously that means nothing to them.

low tread life

Purchased tires in February 2022, upon state inspection in October 2022 was told and shown by tech the tread barely passes inspection at 1mm. Drove 13k miles during that span of time, completely unacceptable for a tire rated for 80k miles. Very disappointing to say the least. Tire drove smooth but tread life is worst I've experienced.
