Poor Quaily Tread Wear

My tires have 21,000 miles and will barely pass inspection. Vwry disappointed fiven they are suppose to have 70k treadlife Am I able to hwt a discount on replacement? If nor, I likely wull consider other brands of tires. .

Turanza EL 440

Road noise...."quiet" thumpthumpthump background road noise from ~10,000 miles onward. These will need to be replaced before 30,000 miles. I had these on prior new Avalon's ..did well....these aren't. I'd be hard pressed to buy Bridgestone tires again.

If you're an Uber or Lyft driver - these are your tires.

A quiet ride is essential if you're a gig worker who gives paid passenger rides. I go through tires much faster due to my line of work. In Minnesota, you need good handling on ice and in snow, but you also need a quiet ride for reviews. I've always purchased winter tires for winter, but they just burn up so fast because the rubber is softer than all other types. So if the roads are clear, you're gonna burn them. If winter tires lasted longer, I'd love them year round. I strayed from winter tires this year and went with the quiettrack, and my significant other and I could not get over how much quieter my car is. We can actually have a lower volume conversation and hear our music at a lower volume much better than any other time I can recall. I was skeptical it wouldn't handle that well though in winter conditions and I stand corrected. I took it out on icy roads and the traction seemed just as good as snow tires. So I'm gonna continue to vouch for these from now on.

Love the Tires but Huge Drawback prevents me recommending

After reviewing all of the attributes for these tires vs. many others, I purchased the Quiettrac back in Dec 2022. They are the BEST tires I've had for handling, comfort and quiet running (especially with a Hybrid which runs very quiet to begin with). BUT, my Camry had been averaging 52-54 MPG consistently for the 5 years I've driven it. After the change out, the MPG dropped to around 43-45 and has stayed that way. Given this tire is recommended in the "Best" section for fuel economy in the details section of this site, I am extremely disappointed in this performance and every time I fill up, regret having made this purchase. I am working with customer service to see if they have any suggestions since I've barely driven 4,000 miles since purchase and they have an 80,000 mile warranty. But if fuel economy is important to you, be advised that the rolling resistance aspect of this tire appears to be quite high (and If I had known that, certainly would have purchased a different type of tire). Hope others find this helpful.

These tires may have saved my life!

Other than these tires being pricey, after not even the first 200 miles they may have saved my life. Maybe two days after getting them installed I had to drive away to evacuate from Hurricane Idalia. Out of no where a very intense rain/wind storm hit while driving on the highway. Within seconds, two cars in front of me lost traction and spun out into the guard rail. My car went through at the exact same speed mere seconds later and never lost grip. This was so terrifying and to even think about what would have happened if I had my previous tires that were balding, things would have been different. These tires are priceless for the traction in wet/windy conditions, especially in Florida. I definitely will be getting these on my next vehicle.

As good as I expected from Bridgestone

I selected this tire set on the recommendation of the Tire Rack specialist. I've only had them for a couple thousand miles so far, but they have met my expectations.

Love the Tires, Huge Drawback prevents me recommending-Pt 2

As a follow-up to the first submission, I contacted the warranty unit and was granted an exchange. I'd hoped for the ECOPIA but ended up with the Turanza 440. Immediately after the switch out, the difference in ride was noticeable but not an issue but, the change in rolling resistance was dramatic. My first test ride after the change restored the mileage on the Camry to the mid 50's which I was getting prior to trying the Quiet Track which was consistently in the mid 40's. So I am happy about that component. Not so much about the drop in warranty between the two (the Quiet Track was 80k and the Turanza is 40k. I just hope that with proper care, that I can get 50k out of them.

Excellent Tire for Ride,Noise, Performance

I've had the tires on my 2014 Prius model 3 for only about a month, but am highly impressed by their great ride comfort and very low noise. I am particularly very pleased with their excellent performance in heavy rain. Even at 65 mph in wet conditions, there is no hydroplaning in straight/normal highway conditions. Technically, they are not meant for a hybrid, because they are not low rolling resistance tires (LRR). At manufacturer psi, I immediately feel the change in ride (nice soft ride) but a sticky feel, and see lower fuel performance over multiple tank fills when compared to LRR tires. However, I deliberately chose these tires because I was tired of the constant loud road noise of my LRR tires, and wanted to see how these 'normal' higher end tires performed. I still get okay mileage for me (range of low to mid 40's mpg per trip) with mostly highway driving on a 64 mile round trip commute, but the ride is immaculate and noise is considerably less which is more of a priority to me than the high mileage of LRR. Looking at the tread, you can see the deep groves that help give the tire it's excellent wet traction. My wife has a 2014 Prius V, but I would not recommend these for the V version because it is a heavier car with the same engine as normal Prius, which means your mpg would likely go down to low-to-high 30's, which would not be acceptable for that car. Overall, an excellent tire if your priorities are nice soft quiet ride with excellent handling in normal and wet conditions. Again, mine are on a Prius, so I understand the mileage issue, but it's not a priority for me. If it were, I would need to stick with LRR tires to get the typical 50-60 mpg of a Prius.

New Lo Miles Review

Turanza Quiettracks have improved my satisfaction with this vehicle dramatically. Initially purchased to reduce noise but I found that the comfort and overall handling of the car with these tires is remarkably better. I guess I just held on to the OEM tires too long and I didn't know what I had been missing out on with the Turanza's! Also enjoyed a really positive experience buying and installing at local store.
