My contractor selected this door for the quality. I am so glad he did, it is a great heavy door and a beautiful door. It seals very tight, and no water splashes out of the shower into my floor. The door must have a special type of glass as it does not show water spots. It glides very smoothly on the track. Great investment for my new tiled shower!

Excellent door, very fashionable to look out and sturdy

We purchased the shower enclosure recently and our contractor completed the remodeling and installation Christmas week. It was almost too beautiful to use, but we did use it. The sliding door is so smooth as it glides shut, it is effortless. True craftsmanship in manufacture.

Excellent quality door. Easy to install, most of the work can be done by one person. A second person is needed just for minor help installing the bottom gasket and guiding the door into place. I recommend using heavy duty suction handles to carry the glass. The instructions and videos are pretty complete. One word of advise, place the movable glass door panel inside the shower before you install the fix panel and top bar, otherwise it will be a tight uncomfortable squeeze. I highly recommend it.

Shower looks great and was easy to install. Took about 3 hours with some help. I give the shower 5 stars, however there was some paint chipping in the door handle. I hope OVE warranty will send me a new door handle. If not, I cannot give the product 5 stars. Will update review with the outcome. Overall, was an excellent shower and I will buy another one for my next bathroom.

Looks great! Wish the opening was bigger, but understand why it's not considering the width of the door. The matte finish is tough to keep clean, but looks beautiful when cleaned!

Just installed the door so I cannot speak on the longevity, but it seems solid. The soft close feature is great. The only problem I had is when it came to installing the channel between the two panes of glass. While I did review over the entire process prior to starting, one critical item that was missed was the fact that my shower base ledge was as wide as this channel. With the dimensions it gave, it would have offset the channel and the sliding door would have been floating instead of on the ledge. My recommendation would be to start at the mid track channel and work backwards. This led to me ripping out some tile and replacing. Other that that hiccup, the rest of it went up fairly well

Our contractor just installed our Ove Bel 48" shower door in matte black. The install was quick, (no swearing), no extra parts, no missing parts. The soft close works, and the door looks great too! Very trendy and upscale. Can't give it 5 stars yet only because we haven't used it enough to rate durability.

The movable door on the outside of the shower leak water while showering. Literature says the fix panel is reversible but with door on the outside water leaks at the bottom of the door.
