I really love apple pears, but be sure to look at the boxed fruit before purchasing. I ordered online and had to return for an exchange because 2 of the 6 apple pears were bruised. That spoils to box.

when I first tried them. An acquired taste. Not bad or weird/different, just an unexpectedly mild, slightly sweet flavor. The flesh has good texture and consistency for chewing. Most often nicely crisp. Core slightly larger than most apples but still plenty to bite into.

Excellent Gold Potatoes at a reasonable price for a #10 bag.
