Never thought about an electric until I read the reviews on this one and made the purchase. I'm certainly GLAD I did! It is rechargeable with a base stand and a foil cutter which works GREAT when you apply just a little pressure. Old cutters I've gotten in a set for other openers were nowhere near this good. I went through two manual push lever handle openers before going electric and this thing is amazing. This makes opening your favorite bottle super easy and quick. No more struggling and no mess.

I've had a few electric corkscrews, nothing compares to this one. A little skeptical due to prior purchases, but extremely happy with this purchase.

I bought this because a local winery uses it to open dozens of bottles a day (shout out to Heart of the Desert Winery in Alamogordo, NM). It looks great with the light and it works great.

I looked at the reviews before purchasing this item and all were spot on. This opener will remove the cork from a wine bottle within 7 seconds!! SO happy I'm no longer fighting with a manual corkscrew

Got it on time. Used once and it worked flawlessly. Only time will tell on how long it will last and how dependable it is. Especially after 2 or 3 bottles every night. That 4th bottle gets harder to manipulate.

It is exactly what we wanted. Works well. Hoping it will last longer than the previous 2 we have owned. They were not Kalorik. Hope Kalorik makes a better product

I bought this one to replace an old one I'd had for over 10 years. I've only used it once and it didn't hesitate removing the cork. I like that it lights up and you can see to place it on the bottle neck correctly. Easier than manual opener!

I've had two other electric wine openers (other brands). This one is better than those. It has more power to open the bottle quickly and cleanly. And I have not yet had a cork stick up inside and just spin around when trying to remove it from the opener (as sometimes happened with the others). I am stingy with 5 star ratings. While it delivers very well where it counts opening the wine, it does have two small flaws. The slot to hold the opener during charging is not well defined. Several times I thought I put it in okay to charge it, but I noticed that the blue LED light had not gone on and had to fiddle with it to get it in right. Also the foil cutter that comes with it is a piece of junk; they shouldn't have even bothered to include it. A good foil cutter cuts the foil cleanly with only a couple of twists; this one does almost nothing with normal effort and with great effort will rip and tear the foil. If you don't have a better one, just use a small sharp kitchen or pocket knife (but watch your fingers... which is why I use a foil cutter).
