Best tires I have ever boughy

I have purchased many tires in the past, but by far theses have been the best yet. They are the quietest tire I have ever had. No road noise what so ever. I your are purchasing tires, spend the extra money and get the best. You won't be disappointed.

Love Michelin tire but not these.

I purchased these tires for my Honda Pilot and boy am I sorry I did. I have driven on these tire about 30,000 miles now and I am going to replace them. They handle decent and traction is not an issue but they are extremely rough riding and a little noisy. It is time to look for a different set of tires. I hate to replace them this soon but I can't stand the roughness anymore.

We understand the Premier A/S tires on your Honda PIlot did not meet your expectation in terms of mileage. A member of our Consumer Care team will be in contact with you. You may also reach our office at 1-866-866-6605.

Good tire attributes but fast tread wear and lower MPG

I bought a full set of these tires in the summer of 2018 for my 2014 Subaru Forester. They have 32,500 miles on them. The good. These tires ride well, absorb road noise and shock, corner well, grip in wet and snow conditions, and look good. I have Michelin X Ice winter tires for my vehicle which I normally swap into from Dec-Feb, but I decided to skip this past winter to see how the Premier A/S tires do in the winter season. They worked out great in lighter snow and way better than the original OEM tires in all snow/ice conditions. The not so good. 1) Loss of fuel economy. I expected a drop in mileage since the OEM tires weren't the best and were primarily fair-weather tires, but I've lost an average of 1.6 MPG over the last 30,000 miles. That's a lot to me. 2) At 32,500 miles I seriously doubt I'll make the 60,000-mile mark as advertised. From the looks of it, I'll probably make 45,000 miles, maybe 50,000. I'm going to stop by the tire store I bought them from and have them give me a better estimate. However, they're wearing at a faster rate than anticipated.

Noise Annoys

In July I purchased four 205/55R16 M1 Premier AS tires for my 2006 VW Jetta TDI. I took off Michelin MXV4s which had given me 45K miles of really great service but which are no longer available. they were not at the end of their useful life but I wanted really new rubber for the trip. The road noise on all surfaces above 45 mph was so bad that I we took my wife's 2011 VW GTI on the trip instead. When I sought to return the AS M1s I was several days beyond the return deadline. Nevertheless, Michelin treated me extremely well and I was given a full refund. Great Company and Service not the right tire for my vehicle and me.

Second Time for Michelin!

Bought Lattitudes for my Rav 4, excellent, so I got the Premier a/s for my Honda Fit Sport. Took a ride on the interstate and they seem great, too little time until they break in a bit. Seem a little stiff but I think they will soften up after a bit.

I have high hopes!

I just bought 4 of these tires for my 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE today. My first impressions are that the ride is just a little bit stiffer than before nothing offensive though and I assume this will be better once the tires are broken in. My car generally has problems in the rain so if these tires perform as advertised I will be very happy. These tires also handle very well for a daily commuter and those who are more spirited like myself. I did notice braking distances have improved a lot. I cannot rate fuel efficiency or wear just yet! I will update my review when the time comes.

Great during a hurricane

I drove 20 miles through a category 1 hurricane, with lots of rain and water on the road, these tires never hydroplaned for even a second, like previous tires have done. Instead of being scared, I felt relaxed, knowing my tires were gripping the road. I highly recommend.

The best

I recently replaced my first set of tires on my 2013 Infiniti g37x. The tires run silent and with excellent grip. They soften bumps much better and with much less sound than the OEM Goodyear Eagle RSA's. It's like a new improved car! I would highly recommend them.

Noisiest Tire Ever!

I have been running Michelins for over 30 years. They have always been great tires. However, when I replaced two of my MXV4 tires on my BMW 325i with the new Premier A/S I realized I made a terrible mistake. They seem to handle well but my smooth quiet ride is gone! These are the noisiest tires ever! I didn't know tires could make this much noise!

Worn out early

Long time Michelin customer, many sets. 3 years 8 months ago we bought a set of Premier tires for our 2011 Chevrolet Malibu. 31000 miles later tread depth is at 5/32. Almost worn out with only half the warranty miles on them. Always have had a lot of miles on my Michelin's, never wore out a set, had to replace them due to weather checking. Will still recommend Michelin's, just not the Premier
