Because we want you to have a positive experience with our products, I would like to offer a few tips for future use. It is important to apply your product at the appropriate time. In order for the preventer to be effective, you'll want to apply around the third mowing of your lawn in the spring and before temperatures reach 80 degrees on a constant basis. Please be aware that this product does not kill existing weeds, but prevents the weeds listed on the label. Turf Builder with Halts has a residual of 3-4 months. If you begin to see crabgrass towards late summer, you may want to consider making a second application 6-8 weeks after the initial application to extend the control.
