I put this down every Spring right before my first mow when the temp is regularly above 50 degrees for daytime highs. Every year it doesn't disappoint! My lawn has been crabgrass and weed free every since I've used this. Great product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the "Value" bag as I do every year. The only problem is that it was more expensive and you get 20 percent less than you got just a year ago. Last year coverage 15,000 now 12,000 not cool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Regular annual application in has eliminated crabgrass from our lawn. We use it in combination with other Scotts products and have been told we have the nicest lawn in the neighborhood.

I followed directions on the bag and let it stand on the lawn for 3 days before the irrigation came. Two weeks later the lawn did green up a little but the crab grass is as healthy as ever with no signs of dying. What am I missing ?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works Great as for other products you don't know te out come will be. But with scotts you know that it will work as it did in the past.

When I remember to apply Halts (or TurfBuilder with Halts) in April on my lawn near Boston, it almost completely prevents the crabgrass issue. When I have NOT applied it, I have crabgrass. This product is a little pricy but it really works.

We have been using this product for years now and we seem to be the only people in the neighborhood that does not had crab grass. It is easy to apply and just a very reliable product.
