removing the blade attachment

I bought this about 3 months ago from HSN after their demonstration looked fantastic. One of the blade attachments leaked no matter how much I tightened it. HSN immediately sent me a new one which didn't leak. It blends very well but I am having difficulty with removing the blade attachment after blending. The problem is you must tighten it so much so it doesn't leak that I am unable to open it. I was forced to purchase a jar opener from Craftsman. I tried completely drying the top of the jar first or wetting the top of the jar before attaching the blade, neither worked. I wish there was another way to remove the blade attachment without having to drag out the jar opener which is a large rubber strapping device. Too much work! I do let people know of this when they ask how I like it. I regret my purchase because I don't use it as much as I had hoped to.

Not just a Blender!!

This machine is truly awesome. 900 watts of power is more than I thought it would be. My ingredients mix in seconds, though I let it run longer to let it extract. The recipes are pretty amazing! Now all I want to do is have a smoothie for breakfast, lunch and dinner, although I don't. I do have smoothies for dessert though! NutriBullet makes it so very easy to make one and clean-up is extremely fast and easy. So much better than a blender!!

Perfect size, pulverizes anything

This comes with the perfect amount of accessories and container sizes. It pulverizes anything in seconds. My only complaint is that a few times it leaked while I was blending and now you have to mess with a little when you push down in order for it to blend. But it says not to clean it with water, so how do you clean it? The blade is easy to clean as long as you rinse it under water immediately. I don't really understand the gasket thing; one of mine fell off the blade but I still use it fine for the most part although it can be difficult to unscrew from the container after blending. I used to own a magic bullet and my NutriBullet is waayyy better.

The Mostly good review

Got my bullet 3 weeks ago and I really like it. I'm not a veggie eater,so it has made a big difference in my diet. I feel better-lost some weight... I jammed up on me one time-one of the 3 locking tabs got jammed and would no release. A pointy knife did the trick. I may have pushed it in too vigorously...

Changed the way I get my nutrition

I have made smoothies before with green vegetables, fruit, seeds, etc. but they always turned out lumpy. The NutriBullet makes completely smooth drinks. As a result, I make more healthy smoothies and find I am losing a bit of weight and slimming down.

Less than impressed

I have been disappointed in the NutriBullet Pro. I have actually gone back to using my blender for preparing my protein shakes. The unit leaks out the lid while mixing despite putting less and less in the container. I have followed the instructions on only filling the ingredients to the max line. It takes much longer to mix up than I had expected.

Dependable

I have been using NutriBullets for years and they are perfect for smoothies. I like the added power that the pro offers. A couple issues though. The first time I used this the gasket came off and was destroyed. Also, the motor smells like it is burning, but I have read that it’s just because it’s new. Time will tell. Overall I definitely recommend it but if you have issues I suggest you contact the manufacturer immediately.

Instant addiction!

I bought my nutribullet a little over 2 months ago and love the nutrition I can pack into one smoothie. They are so simple to make and yet so healthy for my whole family. A great way to get the kids to eat new and healthy choices that they find delicious. Also love the nutriliving. com where I am always finding new recipes!

Perfect for smoothies

I bought this a month ago and have been using it to make breakfast smoothies. It is the perfect size for this. I did not give it 5 stars because the gasket broke and caused the container to leak all over my counter. I had to buy extras on line and am waiting impatiently. An extra gasket should have come with the set.

Not the Greatest

I tried several things following their recipes in the books and nothing came out as a smoothie, instead my drinks came out chunky..The only thing I will probably end up using this for is maybe grinding ice..This was not worth what I paid for at all.Very disappointed.
