Very poor customer service

If a bottle breaks, you practically CAN'T get a replacement. If you write to customer service, they ignore your request. If you call in, you can't get through and remain on hold until you give up. They like to sell new units, but they don't care whether you can get replacement parts. Beware!

Bacteria death trap

Be careful, the blade compartment is very hard to keep clean and sterile. Under the blade is the impeller seal, it collects build-up. We have also removed the rubber seal and purchased extra seals, once you remove it and see the collection of prior use buildup, you’ll be horrified. The work to clean this piece is not worth the trouble. And yes, after every use, immediately, we wash it, but it still builds up. Mine is only a few months old and I won’t use it anymore. On to another product with a better blade and seal system that is easier to clean and maintain.

O-ring Design Flaw Kills It

I purchased this based on reviews. I wish I would have dug into the reviews on the Pro's failures. The gasket (O-ring) between the cup and the blade attachment is a failure point. It leaks terribly causing spray out the seam. Over a few months, the spray will compound the problem with the unit as the three seating switches along the interior that allow the unit to turn on will become gummed up with the spray from the failed o-ring. This causes the unit to not turn on when you go to use the device. It is to the point where I have to keep pushing the cup up and down in the blender until the seating switches allow the unit to turn on. I have replaced the o-rings with OEM o-rings and those made by other manufacturers. I have replaced the cups also. None of this has made a difference. When the device doesn't leak and actually turns on, it works like a champ. 10 times better than our Ninja Kitchen blender. However, I expect it to fully stop working within the month. That is not good for a 6-month old product. I realize this is a bad review and will most likely be overlooked by many, but do the research on the o-ring before you buy.

Cup design...not so great

I really enjoy my blender when I can successfully unscrew the blade from the cup. The cup's diameter is too large to get a good grip. Not everyone has Hulk size hands. Each morning I struggle to remove the blade. I've almost resorted to just slamming it on the floor. So frustrating. They really need to reconsider the design of the cup and make it slimmer.

New Bullet!

I bought this to replace my several year old magic bullet, and I was certainly impressed with how well it worked compared to the old one. My biggest annoyance is that it sometimes leaks through the blade into the machine. I have no idea how it's doing it or why.

Love Love Love it

I'm a huge fan of the nutribullet who has also been responsible for many friends buying it as well. Use it daily and don't know what I'd do without it. The morning smoothies and preworkouts are made complete using this product. I have had it for more than 2 years with no mechanical problems.

Powerful little blender

I upgraded from my magic bullet to the nutribullet and couldn't be happier. I love the larger cups and the blades are SUPER powerful. I can grind up kale, flax seeds and other tough items into a smooth delicious juice. Only qualm is the flip lid on my cup broke within a month of ownership, so I can't secure my to-go cup mouth. Which sucks because I use the cop everyday for breakfast. Though I did purchase a warranty so I plan to get that replaced.

Junker after 10 months

After 10 months of using approx. twice a month the blade bearing seal, in the cap, started leaking into the motor section. No longer useable. Unhappy and won’t replace it with another of this brand. Shame on the design team and product testing component of NutriBullet.

Not happy

Bought just over two years ago and only used about a dozen times before it started to give off a faint burning smell when blending. Not long afterwards it suddenly stopped working altogether. Couldn't get a refund/replacement, as it was outside of the warranty period. Advice from Nutribullet's Customer Services was: 'Buy a new one'. Err no thanks! Expensive mistake, do not recommend.

Poor Craftsmanship

Good morning, Unfortunately I didn't write a review on this product back in June 2016 when I initially received this email. The situation is that by mid July 2016, the Nutribullet suddenly stopped working and I didn't understand it because I did not use it extensively. I called Nutribullet and they honored my 1 1/2 year warranty by replacing the motor base and charged me for shipping cost only. I received the replacement on July 30, 2016. The replacement was working fine until September 2016. I took it out to use and it did not work, so I unplugged it for two minutes, plugged it in again and it started working. It was strange that it didn't work initially, but since it started working, I did not bother to call Nutribullet. Then in December 2016, the same exact scenario from September 2016 happened again. This time I called Nutribullet, but I was on hold for so long that I gave up and hung up. Fast forward to Friday, January 27, 2017, I used the Nutribullet for a few seconds to chop garlic. On Saturday, January 28, 2017, I took it out to use and it did not work. I tried plugging it into 3 different outlets without out success. So I thought that maybe if I leave it unplugged a little longer it may work and to no avail, it still did not work. I tried turning it on everyday, Sunday, Monday and there was no change. I called Nutribullet on Tuesday and the representative was taking me through their ritual of testing, where they had me do various things to the machine in hopes to get it working again. Well after 20 minutes of this, I could not continue the call, because I had to go to work. So I called back on Friday, February 3, 2017 to complete the process and it did not work. I explained to them that 5 of my friends and my mother all experienced the same results and that this product should be recalled, because of poor craftsmanship. I eventually spoke with a manager and he promised me that if I change the blades every 6 months that it will last a lifetime. I received a confirmation email of the 2nd replacement order. So that means, this will be the 3rd Nutribullet in less than 1 1/2 years. At first it was baffling how fast this product was rendered no good, because I'm a vegetarian and I only used vegetables in the machine. Nor did I ever fill the small cup to it's maximum level, I never put hot liquids in it, I live alone so I'm the only consumer of the product and I used it maybe every 2 days or so to chop garlic, make guacamole, and vegetable sauces. I believe that this product should be recalled immediately, because this has happened to many people.
