Seal Issues

After tightening the mixing blade assembly to the container, I continue to experience leaking issues after starting the NutriBullet. In order to prevent this from happening I must initially tighten the blade assembly and then wait a short period of time and tighten the assembly again. The seal is intact , I am not over filling the container, and Iam not running the NutriBullet longer than the recommended amount of time given in the accompanying manual. I recommend improving the seal in the mixing blade assembly.

NOT WHAT WAS EXPECTED

I make a lot of smoothies using ice and yogurt. This appliance will blend whatever is on the bottom and not mix the rest. This requires disassembling, stirring, reassembly, and mixing again. Sometimes it is necessary to do this multiple times. It works when just using liquid, powder, or fresh fruits, but not frozen.

Glad I finally bought one!

I did a lot of research before finally purchasing this particular unit. There were a lot of reviews saying how loud the 'machine' is. In my opinion it is no louder than a blender so don't let those kind of reviews be a deterrent. I am a person who did not make fruits and vegetables regular part of my diet, this is no longer true. I start most days out with a NutriBullet drink loaded with greens and fruits. I find I have a lot more energy by starting my day out this way. I will say when including fruits with seeds and/or nuts let the NutriBullet run just a little while longer in order to get them broken up. I have yet to have any one drink be exactly the same. Its fun to experiment and see how it turns out.

AWESOME PRODUCT

I received my NutriBullet as a Christmas gift. I am SO pleased with this product. I LOVE that you can grind coffee beans and you can blend frozen fruit with ease! I have made many smoothies and have enjoyed each and every one. I love that this product came with a couple books/guides to help me make good choices for smoothies. I also love the fact that there were many sized cups and 2 sets of blades.

Love My Bullet !! *

I love how quick & easy it is to add nutrient rich foods to my diet! My first blast I made. I knew what it was going to be even before I purchased this item. I made a spinach. raspberry walnut blast.. including coconut/almond milk, banana, honey, flax seed, and protein powder. I logged into the site.. and found some recipes for better sleep.. so as often as i can i have a blast at night before bed..containing cherries, banana, almonds, oat milk.. I also suffer from frequent headaches and migraines. And although I have not made a blast to directly target migraines... I have noticed a decrease in the frequency of my headaches and the severity of my migraines. I look forward to having more fun experimenting with different recipes... and to feel better and enjoy a healthier life !! * Love My Bullett !! *

Makes great green smoothies

I bought the 900w NutriBullet in June and have been making at least one smoothie a day, occasionally more. The NutriBullet seems to pulverize all the vegetables and soft fruits to make a nice healthy drink. My only disappointment is that at 900w, I was hoping that the NutriBullet would do a better job on seeded fruits, like strawberries. I buy an organic blend of strawberries, raspberries, and black berries, but the seeds still float around whole in the liquid. I can only give this product 4 stars.

A nice piece of engineering

I was extremely skeptical before getting the NutriBullet. I read all sorts of reviews that stated that folks thought it was merely an overpriced blender. Well, they were unequivocally wrong. The NutriBullet Pro is an outstanding piece of hardware. From the outside it looks only like a big motor with a cup on it, but it is engineered to perform. The secret is in the inverted cup and the alignment of the sharp blades. This device is not about blending, but breaking solid material down into a liquefiable fashion. You can clearly see the cyclonic action as gravity and the blades pulverized what you put in it. Plus you do not need to mash anything down, if you follow the directions, it works like a charm. Warning, you must follow the directions! There is a learning curve to use it correctly. Do not over fill the cup; always add less solid foodstuffs than you think you need. Always add water to the fill line; without enough water, the blades will not work correctly. I also suggest that you place a little oil on the lip of the cup when you start, this will allow the gasket to move freely after you use the device. And be careful, the blades spin very fast. They do produce some heat, so never leave the device running without being right there. You only need seconds to do the job – again, do not think of this as blender.

Versatile and Powerful

This little machine is very powerful and doesn't take up much counter space. I originally bought it to make smoothies, but have also been using it to chop up pecans, vanilla wafers, and graham cracker crumbs for cookie recipes. It is also super easy to clean. I highly recommend this product.

Works very well, makes great drinks!

The Nutri Bullet works very well for the most part, making smooth and nutritious drinks out of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as very smooth soup bases. However, even with the powerful motor on the PRO model, it starts to smell a little burnt after blending for about 45 seconds. Consumer Reports gave the Nutri Bullet a low rating when the motor failed to crush a cup full of ice. We've never tried to do that with our machine, but the CR warning is a concern. We've noticed that the drinks that we make on the Nutri Bullet PRO are the best to drink at the time they are made, and most of the first day. Under refrigeration, the drinks often separate, then we have to shake them up to remain drinkable. It is a nice machine for the price, however, and does most of the work that the higher priced extractors can do. So, we'll stick with our Nutri Bullet, even though CR advises to get rid of it.

Best single serving, minimal clean up,

I've had a Nutribullet for years, and just upgraded to the higher horse power, as the demands on the lesser one was burning it out. I purchased a VitaMix initially, but it is more like a blender, large volume, harder clean up. With the Nutribullet you blend-and-go. The accessories are useful and not superfluous. Enjoy in health!
