This is THE only tequila I drank in 2006 on my trip to Cancun. The resort I stayed at had this specific tequila as their top shelf tequila and used it for shots and mixed drinks. I had it primarily in tequila sunrises 🌅. A great drink to relax by the pool or beach with. No hangovers, either!

Makes one heck of a Cadillac margarita. We like to add tahin to the rim. This tequila is light in color and has a floral-vanilla scent with a distinct, smoky finish. It would be good as a shot but that not my way to drink it.Hornitos Reposado Tequila #happyhour

I love Hornitos Reposado Tequila for my margaritas! The flavor is not too smoky, not too acidic. I like a mix of fresh lime juice, a small portion of orange liquor (I like Gran Gala) 2 shots of tequila and a really good mix. I am liking the Tres Agaves Margarita mix. Stir or shake and serve over ice.. Cheers! Summer is coming-I literally bought a new bottle today!

Hands down my favorite tequila. I work as a traveling brand ambassador for certain alcohol companies. I ALWAYS test out the liquor a few days in advance so I can provide honest feedback to my customers. That being said....I could easily drink this straight! It’s smooth. It’s sweet. It’s everything a perfect tequila should be. And I’m obsessed with the bottle. It feels so nice in my hand. 😆 This is perfect for margaritas since it’s aged longer and has a sweeter, deeper finish than the silver. I would recommend silver for palomas since it has more citrusy notes.

This is my Allllll Time favorite tequila! It's only $10 a bottle, it's not harsh like fire water bt semi-smooth, It makes me feel great (tipsy) & I never ever have a hang over, headache nor any of the other mess I go thru when drinking brown liquor. I recently found the dark barrel 1 & OMGGG smoothest tequila I've ever had. It's a sipper not a shoter lol

NOPE. NEVER AGAIN. Would you like a headache? Cause that's what this gives you. I've had a good experience with Hornitos Plata Tequila so I assumed I'd have a good time with his brother. I took 3 shots (I was also drinking beer) and I felt really good. Well the next day I didn't really feel sick, I actually still felt a little drunk but I got the worst headache I've had in a while. My go to drink is tequila and the tequilas I like never give me a headache the way this one did. It also tasted horrible. I'm not a fan. I'll just stick to Hornitos Plata.

Not being a tequila aficionado, my favorite to date is Patron. So, I wanted to know which brand of tequila is preferred when making margaritas. Hornitos Reposado was always ranked towards the top of every list I viewed. I decided to give it a try, and what better way, is to do a shot while making a pitcher. What a fantastic tasting tequila. I love it

Hornitos is one of the smoother tequilas but harder to find. I will always upgrade a house margarita if Hornitos is available. Definitely worth paying a few extra bucks! I’m satisfied every time I’ve had Hornitos and no nasty hangover like some cheaper more common brands.

Yum! I’ve never bought a reposado before, so I didn’t know exactly what to expect (I’ve been a consumer in bars only), and since I’ve purchased this bottle I’ve grown to love this tequila! I get the herbal and oaky notes with smoky finish. Good on its own, too! Will post about the cocktail in the photo soon :)

Throw it in the freezer & she’s fine with lime and salt, but if you drink hornitos warm with no lime and salt? She’s got a bite & you’ll be cringing. Other than that - not a bad cheap tequila if you’re looking for a fun night that’s easy on the wallet
