Buying the KEURIG Mini Plus is wonderful for a college student. I bought the black but would suggest buying a gray or blue because the dust and residue show up much more on black appliances. Being able to boil water easily for k-cups and even powder hot chocolates and teas have never been easier. It is louder than I thought it would be but still brews a delicious cup well and quickly. Also available is storage for your k-cups which is very convenient and the ability to brew coffee large enough for travel mugs.

Fails after 8 months!

Bought my first one 2 xmas ago and replaced 8 months later. Works great till then. It will stop draining the water from the resevoir. You have to keep opening and closing the starter lid to get it to finish draining. Sometimes after all that it turns off and you have to turn back on to finish the process. They replaced it and now a year later that one is doing the same exact thing. Will not reorder!

Only works 25% of the time. I’ll put the water in the reservoir and press the button to get the water boiled and it will only take 15% of the water at a time. And after lifting the k cup hood and closing it 5 times, it stops adding water and boils what’s in there. While it’s pouring the water into the cup, all the water that remains in the reservoir that wasn’t boiled, pours into the cup as well. Leaving your coffee lukewarm and in need of an instant microwave zap. SUPER annoying.

I wish I had saved up and splurged on one of the mixer keurigs. We’ve had to replace ours multiple times due to issues. At one point it wouldn’t heat the water, another it wouldn’t drain the water from the little revisor except for a little bit at a time. My roommate who has the larger one has no issues out of hers. I suppose you get what you pay for

Great but has issues

I've had mine for about 10 months now. Sometimes when you brew it.. it doesn't take all the water. I have to take out the pod so it doesn't get wasted and keep trying till it takes all the water. Sometimes after a few attempts o give up and go without coffee. When it works (which is most of the time) I love it. Fits perfectly Inna tight space next to my toaster.

Really like it!

The design is very elegant and sleek and not bulky at all, it's easy to work with after you read the instructions and i love the fact that it turns off by itself a bit after all the brewing is done. It's very sturdy and a good quality product overall. I feel the price is right. The only reason why i give it 4 stars and not 5, it's because the coffee was not strong enough for me, even pressing on the ''strong'' button. It could have been the k-Cup that i used, it's the ''Green Mountain'' Natural Blend i believe, medium roast. I will have to try it with something else to confirm it;s indeed the coffee and not the Coffee Maker.

Defective

Been using Keurigs for years, but this model is terrible. IMMEDIATELY spits out lukewarm water, without brewing, wasting a k-cup, while keeping half the water still inside the unit! Called customer support and followed the troubleshooting walkthroughs with the friendly rep., but couldn't get it to brew hot, coffee or give me a full cup. Returning, and will buy a different model. I'm most upset about the wasted k-cups.

Hit and Miss

I was so excited when I bought the mini for my office. I'm the only employee, so I literally make 1 cup of hot chocolate a day. However, since day 1, it is hit or miss if its actually going to brew anything. Sometimes the water just sits. Or it heats up, but turns off. I 'm on my 4th attempt, and its running, but nothing is brewing. This is very frustrating and annoying.

Complicated

I was given this as a gift and was super excited to finally have my own Kuerig. I have used multiple style machines via friends and family, and I have to say, I found this machine to be the most complicated of any of the styles I’ve personally encountered. The first time I go to brew coffee each time, the first fill of water just runs with no coffee, and I personally do not have time to wait for this first initial ‘water cup’ each time I go to make coffee in the morning. Also, its very apparent when to actually push the button the brew the coffee. I find myself waiting forever and fussing with it by wasting multiple kcups to get the right brew or I’m in a rush hoping this little guy does it’s job and end up with a grossly watery coffee. One postive is that it is tiny and sleek and doesn’t take much room at all on the counter, but I find this product to be difficult for how ‘easy’ they are advertising for.

Space saver

I got this from #influenstervoxbox and it’s amazing! Doesn’t take up much counter space, brews just as great as the others, and I love it! I’ve wanted a Keurig for a while, but didn’t know which one I wanted. So glad #influenster sent it to me!! #gotitfree
