Works, but sputters owl noises

This product has been working for about 3 months, it brews coffee to my liking. However, it makes a terrible owl screeching noise for 10-30 minutes, sometimes longer, after brewing. Apparently this is common, and there is nothing you can do but throw it out the darn window.

Hi Brian, we appreciate your review and feedback. This is considered expected behavior for the K-Mini Plus coffee maker. Even after the brewer has been turned off or unplugged, heat will still be present inside the hot water tank. This heat causes the air to expand and forces it out of the brewer. The noise you are hear is likely air flowing through the hole that regulates brew pressure.

I’m so in love with it!

I received this brewer as complimentary for testing purposes only I was so excited to use it as soon as it arrived! Definitely great size to move around! Very easy to use! Definitely fast to brew! It’s ready in about 3 minutes! I loved the size the look is so sheek and elegant looking! The quality of the brew is definitely amazing! Tastes soo good! I’m so happy! this was definitely made for us moms on the go!! I think it’s amazing and worth everything! I recommend to everyone its very practical! My thoughts and opinions are 100% mine ! Thank you for creating this phenomenal brewer!

Well made & designed K cup brewer

I bought this machine to use when I travel. It is small and well designed. Unfortunately it would not work with my 150W power inverter. Not sure how much power this machine requires since I could not find it in the specs. Works just fine plugged into a wall outlet.

Thanks for your review. The K-Mini Plus coffee maker is specified for 120 VOLTS AC 60HZ 1470W. The maximum power consumption, of up to 1470W occurs only during the heating cycle. Otherwise the power consumption at idle or dispense is between 10-15W. Hope this helps!

Will it brew or NOT?

I purchased my first mini brewer (K15) in Aug 2012. It worked well for almost four years with 2 users. It was replaced in Nov 2016 when the top broke off. Our second mini performed well without incident approximately, again, 4 years. In Dec 2020 I purchased my last SLIM mini brewer and have been having trouble with it for a more than six months. It inconsistently works; it resumes working after different "fixes" but does NOT last. I clean it according to the directions provided by Keurig. It works maybe a day or two. I unplug it and plug it back it, it works for a couple of cups. I add more water and sometimes that works, but then water overflows in the mug and fills the tray. I have even just said the "___" with it and walked away and then 20 minutes later it starts brewing. This unit has lasted less than 2 years and is only used by one person - me. My adult children actually brought me a larger version keurig but I prefer the mini as the water is fresh each time and takes us minimal space on my kitchen counter. In addition, I am constantly having to remove water from the slot where the removable water tray is located. I thought this was a singular problem with my brewer only, but then I read so many reviews similar to mine. There seems to be problems in the design of the newer models.

Works when it feels like it.

It looks like I am having similar issues with this product that some of the other 1 star reviews have. Occasionally the unit works without a hitch (1x out of 5). What typically goes on is, it takes 5 - 6 x of turning it off and on to draw all of the water out of the bath, heat it and finally make coffee. The only reason I did not return this is I bought the K - Mini pre Christmas and didn't use it until sometime in January. By that time I lost the receipt and just decided to keep this annoying product. Unlikely I will ever by another.

Second try and failing again

This is the worst coffee maker. It is loud and slow ... much louder and slower than any other Keurig I have used. The company would not let us select a different model when the first one quit working completely after a few months. This one is no better, but at least they gave us a new one. The machine has these little black pieces that we keep finding. They must be coming loose from the machine just like they did on the first model, so I am sure this one will stop working soon. Worst purchase I ever made. Just don’t know if I want another Keurig since the company will not let me put the price toward a different model. Probably time to cut my losses and move on.

Don't Waste Your Money

I bought one of these thinking I'd save money. Bad plan. It worked well for about a week and then slowly deteriorated. First it stopped making hot water - if you like tepid tea water and weak coffee-water then you'll be fine. Then three days ago it stopped working all together. I took it "apart" and clean everything but it's not like ti's more elaborate and dependable siblings. It's cheaply made and has but one real part - the water container (which will resolve the current issue) which can be removed. Tonight it look me 45 frustrating minutes to brew one cup (with three pods wasted) but I discovered how to "fix" the non brew issue. Plug the hole where the water is supposed to drain into the machine similar to plunging your toilet when it's plugged up and WHAMMO the water was sucked into the machine and it ACTUALLY MADE HOT WATER/COFFEE. So before customer service wants to contact me I've already ordered a more expensive, better Keurig and I'll just box this one up and sell it as used with a note on how to make it work properly. Bottom line - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. It's gonna break down just give it time.

The BEST!!!!

I LOVE this! I cannot believe how great it is! I wanted a coffee maker but am very limited on space. This is SPACE SAVING! It takes up the smallest amount of space and sits on my counter like it has always been there. Very easy to use right out of the box! I was researching online for hours and comparing different coffee makers & my efforts have paid off!!!! I also purchased a wide variety of flavors of coffee and tea k cups & they are so easy to make!!!! Totally recommend this pocket!!!! :)

We have had our mini for a year. We use it multiple times a day. It’s small and not bulky like others we had. We had it in our tiny house before we sold it. The only thing it will do once in a while is freeze and not suck all the water up. I will have to unplug and restart.

Sadness

I bought this because of the size for my apartment. Unfortunately the reusable k cup filter doesn’t fit like it’s says it does, I couldn’t get to fit, it is too tall even without the adapter on. I love the machine itself but I wish I had a reusable filter that fit into the new k mini
