This is made of 100%cotton but it's not that heavy dense scratchy type. It's so plush and soft you feel like you're wrapped in your favorite, soft, ever so comfy bathrobe.It has amazing absorbency and dos NOT leave a ton of lint in your dryer lint trap which happens with the towels I use regularly. Definitely recommend them. I promise you won't be disappointed!!

It takes a few washes to reach peak absorbency but once it does it is very absorbent. I am considering replacing all of my towels with this brand because I'm so impressed with the quality for the price point.

Even after drying it, it still maintains it's soft texture. It is a high quality towel that is made very well. The white is very bright, not dingy at all. This is very nice to have as a decoration, but even better for everyday use. It would make a wonderful wedding gift. The towel does not fall apart and leave line everywhere. But I was thoroughly impressed with this towel the first time I used it! It's a very rich, beautiful color, plush, thick pile and absorbent, yet very soft. The size is perfect! If you prefer heavy duty, thick towels these are the ones you want. As far as shedding, I have not noticed any issues yet.
