Got one today got home opened the box, and in less than 5min. it was installed! I attached the fan blades removed the 100watt bulb from my light socket and threaded the Bell %26 Howell fan/light into my light socket, with the remote that came with the unit I turned on the fan and light. Amazing!! I didn't think such a small compact fan/light could handle my 12 X 16 man cave so well, both the fan and the light have 3 settings so you can go choose low medium or high for the fan or light. On high the fan does a great job of moving the air and its quiet too. I was impressed with the light I didn't expect it to be as bright as it was on high, it was visibly brighter that the 100 watt LED bulb I had in the socket. I'm getting 2 more for the bedroom %26 guitar room. This compact Bell %26 Howell socket fan combo is a mighty mite! Your gonna love it!

It can be screwed into any light socket and even includes a socket extender! It is super bright and has 3 brightness modes. It comes with a remote control which is a huge plus! Our ceilings are too low for a traditional ceiling fan, but the socket fan works great! It was easy to install in our light socket and already comes with a convenient remote control. It is a 3 fan speed and has 3 light setting. It is perfect for anyroom in your house. This fan fits a standard light socket.

bought this 6 days ago from Wal Mart. loved the idea. light could be a little brighter and the fan worked good until today. the fan no longer works. will not turn on. this was a complete waste of $50. i doubt i can return it because i already threw the box out

Well let me let you in on a secret of your light in your room or kitchen are in sideways this will not work! It has to be a light ficture that is straight up and down I was totally bummed but I found 1 in my kitchen yay! It really helps cool you down and I love that you can use the remote to work it! Who would have ever thought! Gone are the days of having to buy expensive hardware and electrical to have a ceiling fan im completely blown away!!! Will be buying more for sure!
