This is not the original Bell Howell socket fan light. It is an imitation. It came in a small brown box with no labels nor logo. There is a delay in turning on the light when you flip the switch to on. The seller advertises it as Bell Howell. How do I know? I bought a real one prior to this one. The real one comes with 2 socket extensions and a mount for the remote in a Bell Howell box just like the seller’s photo. I will be returning.

This little fan is more powerful than I expected. I really didn't expect it to perform but I was so surprised. It really moves the air around. It was super easy to attach the blades . They simply snap into place. I took out the old spotlight and twisted in the fan light and it worked. I'm really pleased

Great product. Only problem is we use. 2 lights/fans in our kitchen and both are controlled by one remote. If we only want one light/fan on it is tricky using one remote. Both turn on and off at the same time. Two different remotes would work better in our situation.

made the perfect ceiling fan for my staircase , it pulls the warm air down and lights the staircase up. Very quiet operation, very very easy installation, if you can screw a light bulb in, you can install this light fan. Wonderful idea someone had on making this jewel.

LOVE THIS FAN/LIGHT! It's so convenient.. We replaced the light over our washer/dryer with it and not only can we see better and not leave behind any clothing in the washer or dryer, but it also keeps the utility room from getting stuffy while the dryer runs. It also comes in handy for clothes that need to hang to dry. Price is great, super easy to install.. Attach the blades, screw it into the existing bulb socket! Big plus.. Comes with a remote!

The fan works ok. The remote is a little tricky to use. You can't turn off the fan without either turning the whole unit (light and fan) off or you have to go through the speeds on the fan until you get to the off position of the fan. Then if you want to use the light switch on the wall to turn off the whole unit, when you turn it back on the fan comes on if it was on when you flipped the switch. It would be better if the fan stayed off when you turn the light switch on. If the remote could have an on/off switch for the fan and a set of speed buttons like ********* for the three speeds. I know this is just a wish list, but it is what it is.

This thing is probably the neatest thing I have ever seen. Time will tell how long this thing lasts, but other than that I am very pleased.

Bought one loved it so much bought 6 more. They are easy to install and put out a great amount of air and bright light. Very happy with them.

For little itty bitty fans, they kicked out a lot of power to cool my Garage . I have recommended them to my neighbors here in the townhome complex.

Fan/light seems to be made well and the light if bright and fan speed is good, but it has a defect and the blades only go in reverse. Will have to return the product for a replacement, which is an inconvenience.
