I live at 5000’ in the northern Sierra Nevada Mountains . My 2018 Subaru Forester limited is very good except OEM tires. Hated switching to studded snow tires , so after much research order a set of CrossClimate tires. They are slightly louder than OEM but much quieter than dedicated studded snow tires. Tires are Magical in snow and ice , so impressed! No more switching to dedicated winter tires. Will sell those . I found my lifetime tires for truly all season and terrain - pavement, dirt/gravel , forest roads , and especially winter snow/ ice.

Excellent Ride and performance! When I was researching tires to purchase the Michelin Cross Climate 2 stood out because of the number of reviews. I found that on the 4 tire stores near me, the Cross Climate 2 had almost 5k reviews 4.8 rating. No other tire came close with number of reviews. This was a testament of the excellence of this tire!

these tires are unmatched they are the best the day after i bought them it was raining pretty heavy and i was taking turns at 65mph and it was like it wasnt raining, the other day had a snowstorm 9" drove through with no issues at all i absolutely love the tires.

I purchased these ties on reviews. Some reviews stated that their Auto lost gas mileage. We own a 2020 Cadillac XT-5, V-6 310 HP, AWD. Before on the original tires we where getting 19.7 to 20.3 MPH. Highway mileage was the most 24.5. With these new CrossClimate2, the gas mileage increased to almost 23 MPG in the city and not quite 27 Highway. Only 1 time we received 34 MPG when we used the cruse control. The tire are quite, smooth riding and you do not hear any noise and good stopping in rain. Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

I bought the H speed rated instead of the V hoping to get a softer ride. The 19 rims on the 2015 Lexus RX 350 don’t ride very well. Impressive stopping ability. I mean impressive. Good grip on wet roads. Handles well. Fuel mileage dropped 2mpg. After 18 months I’m pleased with the wear. Very smooth ride on smooth surfaces. Harsh on really bad roads. One tire made an awful noise constantly. Warranty replacement fixed that problem. Almost silent on smooth roads. These tires must be difficult to manufacture. Enormous differences from tire to tire in the amount of wheel weights needed to get them balanced. I’ve never had a set of tires that needed this many wheel weights. Correctly balanced the car is smooth at 85 MPH. Outside of the fuel mileage drop they are outstanding tires.

I purchased these new tires for my 2019 All-Wheel Drive Hyundai Tucson Limited, I travel 40K miles per year on average and experience all types of weather, Rain, Snow, and Ice. I bought these since I was looking for an all season tire with the 3PMSF on it. In my review, this topped the charts on Tire Rack and Consumer Reports, so I bought these, not knowing what to expect. Next thing I knew, my car feels completely different to drive than it did before. It’s more composed, on-center feel is more noticeable and the ride is wicked quiet!

We purchased a 2018 Mercedes Benz GLC 300 with run-flat tires. I was going to need snow tires plus a set of all season tires plus a set of wheels since I don’t like run-flats and wanted to replace them. My service tech advised me to go for the CrossClimate2 and I am so glad I did. They handle very well in all conditions and saved me a pile of cash. They are a little noisier than all season tires but well worth that slight compromise. They were installed in Oct, 2020.

ADVANTAGES: - Versatile Performance: The Michelin CrossClimate tires have exceptional traction, especially in wet weather and heavy water on the road, it is crucial for those of us living in Florida - Long Tread Life: Michelin claims a long tread life for these tires - 60K Miles Warranty: While I hope I won’t need it, having a 60,000-mile warranty provides peace of mind - Quiet Operation: Contrary to some reviews, I found these tires to be quiet during my drives. - Distinctive Design: The unique design sets them apart from many other tires. DISADVANTAGES: - Increased Fuel Consumption: Immediately after installation, I noticed a substantial increase in gas consumption—up to 20% compared to my previous OEM tires. After approximately 1000 miles, this improved to 10-15%. However, it’s still a significant impact! Given the already high cost of these tires, it’s important to take into account the additional expense resulting from increased fuel consumption. SUMMARY: The performance of the Michelin CrossClimate tires is very good, prioritizing safety and hopefully longevity, as claimed by Michelin. However, for my next tire purchase, I’ll be seeking similar performance without the negative impact on gas consumption.

Purchased a set of CrossClimate 2 tires in September of 2022 for my 2012 Volvo XC90 to replace a set of worn Michelin Defenders which were great tires lasting 65,000 miles. My XC90 has 208,000 miles. 1 year and 40,000 miles later, the tires are at 7/32 with even wear. I perform rotations and balancing (if needed) every 5,000 miles. These tires have been AMAZING. They are quiet, provide amazing performance, and are wearing very well. I live in Minnesota and travel to Salt Lake City/Park City frequently. These tires are almost as good in the snow/ice as the Blizzaks I have on my 2017 Volvo XC90 in the cold months. Last winter was brutal, so drove many miles through a lot of snow/ice/slush/rain and had absolutely zero problems. They are PHENOMENAL in snow and rain, and great highway tires. They have tolerated chains in the mountains without any unusual wear. I have not had any decrease in fuel economy. I like them so much, I just replaced the Defenders on my other XC90 with a set of CrossClimate 2 tires. When it’s time, I’ll also put a set on my 2018 Volvo V60. Reading other reviews, I was reluctant to try these, but obviously my experience has been great. Perhaps my priorities are different because of the frequent severe weather I experience, but I love these tires.
