Didn't uphold warranty

Purchased two tires last year in June. Only put 30000 miles on them before they were completely worn down (3/32 measurement). Had them replaced because they were unsafe to drive with our 4 small children. Called bridgestone to see if they could help me with the warranty and they said no. If you have choices between bridgestone and another tire, don't purchase bridgestone because of the warranty. It will more than likely be of no use.

Back with Bridgestone

I've been around the block with OEM tires on my 2014 Porsche Cayenne S as well as a 2013 Mercedes GLK 350 and sorry to Pirelli and Michelin but nothing compares to the immediate satisfaction of a smooth quiet ride of the new Alenza AS Ultra and with an 80K mileage warranty, I'll be reporting back for a long time. I had the Bridgestone Dueler H/L on a Mercedes ML350 and they were great as well regarding wear and ride. Make no mistake, the Pirelli and Michelin brands make fantastic tires but neither never made it to half the mileage warranty even with consistent rotation. I did receive a prorated cost due to early tire wear but it gets expensive replacing tires like these every 12 - 18 months.

Excellent Tire

Have driven 40k on this set of tires got 30k out of the ecopias. Very cushioned ride. At first they seemed noisier than the ecopias but the ecopias were extremely quiet. Either way doesn't bother me now and I'm impressed with wear I think I can get 50k which is great for a tire on the Highlander.

Good overall tire

This tire is on a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The vehicle is driven by my wife and our residence is in a mountain area that can receive a great deal of snow, The tires were recently installed and my wife was very pleased with the traction and comfort of the new tires. The Alenza AS Ultra replaced an OEM set of Bridgestone on the Jeep. This new Alenza tire is a big improvement over the previous Bridgestone tire.

Sidewall blowout and tires wearing quickly

My RAM 1500 came with the older version of these tires that had a 40,000 mile warranty. At 30,000 they had strange wear patterns on three of the four tires even though they had been rotated multiple times, correct pressure maintained, and NO alignment issues. Got a 25% reduction is new set of four due to prorated mileage failure and really loved the new ones at first. Now with only 25,000 miles on them it is clear they won't make it to 50,000 let alone 70,000 or 80,000 or whatever they claim. Bigger problem is today pulling out of driveway the passenger front tire blew out. I did not hit anything, there was no road hazard, the sidewall simply failed going over the 1" curb from my driveway to the street. Thank God I was not driving down the highway with my three kids in the car. I am filing a report with NTSB to see if their are manufacturing problems reported with these tires as I do not feel safe keeping them on my truck. The dealer insists a tire cannot simply blow out and I must have hit something but the RAM Roadside tech said it was clearly a sidewall band problem and it was obvious I hit nothing, and there was nothing in the road or stuck in the tire.

New tires

I just purchased these tires 3 days ago and so far so good. Quiet ride and smooth driving. All I hear when driving is the sound of my engine. The roads have been very wet here in Connecticut in the past couple of days and I have had no problems driving in the rain. I haven't felt any hydroplaning and the truck seems to handle quite well in the current conditions. Like I said, " I've only had these tires for 3 days" so far so good. A bit skeptical from the reviews I have read, but I'll will have to see once the tires break in and get more wear on them. I have been driving on Michelin's for the past 3 1/2 years and the wear pattern was showing on the outside edges and tread life was low too. I kept the tires properly inflated and rotated about every other oil change. I guess I will have to see what Bridgestone tires do after 5K to 25K. They claim to be an 80,000 mile tread life... time will tell. If I don't like them within the next couple of months, I will return back to Firestone and Find something else. I hope these Alenza Ultra's make me a believer! These are my first set of Bridgestones.

They last forever and are great in the winter and summer!

I loved the life I got out of these tires (I put them on in 2017 and just now had to replace them in 2024)! And they are great in the Minnesota winter along with being a good tire in the summer :) This is why I went with the same tire again when putting new ones on. I'd recommend these as a good tire

Overhyped

Only put 200 miles on the Alenza ultra. Final decision was made due to the many good reviews. My honest review is that the tire is not that impressive. My hope was a truly quiet, comfortable ride. Just simply not impressed with ride. Spent the money so now stuck with them. Lets hope that at-least the longevity of the tire is at least good. I would not recommend this tire, especially at the price point.

Decent tire but they don't last ling

These tires are decent, drove them over the Sierras during the winter and they did fine. They just don't last very long, had to replace before 17k miles. It's a bummer because I really wanted to like them but won't be getting them again. No milage warranty either.

Love These Tires!

Lots of potholes in RI and these tires increased the ride quality of our Wrangler Sahara Unlimited immeasurably. They do everything well, but their ride quality combination of comfort and quietness are so superior, we just bought a pair for our 2012 BMW X5 35d! These are the best riding tires we have ever owned and I may not wait for my run flats to wear out before I have a pair mounted on our 2020 X5 M5Oi.
