These are fantastic earbuds for cycling. I can hear music and my surroundings. After some use the rubber on the left pod fell off, and now the rubber on the right side by the volume buttons is also delaminating, which has caused sweat to get in and damage the volume-up/power button, so I can't even turn them on! Charging them wakes them up but then puts it into pairing mode. Awesome product and functionality, but disappointing durability. Would recommend if I knew that they would last longer than a year.

Great sound with a comfort level that makes all day use no problem. It's paired great and has both a good range and lots of use time. I easily get 10 hours or more. Over all it's a great headset and it's open design is just the best of all the open ear headsets I've tried. Since it's bone conducting it's truly open ear. As one who wears both glasses and hearing aides it's the first headset I've found that works for me.

I bought my first Shokz mainly to listen to major league baseball games and not be confined to watching a screen indoors. With my Shokz I could be outside, and still be a part of other activity and conversation while keeping up with the ball game. Now I have the Open Run mini which fits much better and allows me to be more active while listening to any thing I want. Music, podcast, books, and of course Baseball all while relaxing, gardening or working out.

Love these mini OpenRun Shokz!! No more ear pain from ear buds that don’t fit right. No more wires. Fast charging and great sound. Finally I can workout, hike or fish, and still talk with my husband without him having to yell or wave at me just to get my attention. Shokz has made me a believer in bone conduction technology. I love the quality of the sound, but they are very heavy and put pressure in front of my ears, which usually results in a headache if I wear them longer than an hour. The range is not great. If I'm on a phone call and walk into another room without taking the phone, I lose my connection. I had to take a picture of the instructions, because I could never remember how many times I had to click on the main button to do what I needed.

I am truly surprised at how well these bone conducting headphones work. I use them for running and I always used to be surprised by bikes or other runners coming up behind me on a trail. With these headphones I can listen to my music or podcasts and still be aware of my surroundings. They are very comfortable and I almost forget that I'm wearing them. The controls are easily accessible and the magnetic charger plug is extremely easy to hook up when charging. The sound quality is slightly less than other headphones, but unless you are an audiophile who uses an equalizer (or knows how to use an equalizer) on your stereo, they are perfectly acceptable for listening to music or podcasts while running. Phone usage seems a little less than other headphone's I've had before, but again, I'm not making a lot of calls while in the middle of a training run. If you are looking for comfortable headphones that allow you to hear and be aware of your surroundings while running/biking/etc., these are really great! You can even leave your music running and headphones on when talking to someone on the street (I used to have to hate pulling out one side of my headphones when I needed to talk to someone).

I used my shockz the very first time on a recent Marathon corse. It was the best listening experience I’ve ever had. I could hear all my surroundings, the cheers and other runners while enjoying my music to get me through my run. I never had to pop a bud out of my ear and say “what I didn’t hear you” and the battery life was solid for the 5+ hours it took me to finish my marathon. I’m never going back to earbuds. The volume was perfect. It’s like magic how these things work.

Everything about these headphones is fantastic. They are comfortable, the sound quality is great for music or podcasts, the calls are crisp and microphones seem to work good as callers never complain about my voice. Also, running with these is a dream. They stay in place well and offer the sounds of your surroundings at the same time like magic

I love these headphones, they are nothing like anything I've ever owned! I hate ear buds and over ear headphones are gross to workout in. The bone conduction technology is so impressive, great for exercise, meditation, binaural beats and everyday wear. Battery life has been great too!

I am thrilled with these! I love not having something in my (small) ears and the sound quality is better than in ears. I did get the mini for the shorter band, but I do wish it was adjustable. Even with the mini, the band gets pushed down and the ear pieces then move further away from my ears if I'm wearing a sweater and or coat. All in all I am a fan and customer for life. Listening to music/podcasts at work has made my life much better and the battery lasts all day if I remember to turn the power off when not in use.
