Cheaper version of After Shoks.

I bought these to replace a pair of aftershocks that I have used for a couple of years. The speaker pad wore off. Anyway, these are not nearly as good. These go into standby mode, if allowed to sit idle for a minute, so you miss the first part of a sentence, as the headphones wake up. The battery does not last 8 hours if listening to music. And the worst part is, the pop every once in a while and “tap” against the entrance to the ear. It feels like your jaw is popping back into place.

Very comfortable headphones

One of the most comfortable headphones I've ever owned, they are very lightweight. The sound is awesome and I can hear my surroundings compared to in-ear devices. The battery life lasts up to two and half days. On the downside, there's no sound cancelation, noisy traffic or wind drowns out music, the person on the other end of a call can hears noises in the background. You may want to keep your in-ear device.

Get the Correct Size and There Great

I originally purchased the mini because it seemed to fit comfortably and not hang out so far behind my head. However, after a week of using the mini I realized two things. One, the sound quality was not good unless I pressed the headset to my head to get the high notes. Second, the pressure the mini put on my ear hurt after 30 minutes. So, I exchanged the minis for the regular and it made all the difference. I suspect the device needs to press flat against your head to hear the full spectrum of sounds and the mini was too tight and could not lay flat. Long story short, get the size the fits correctly the first time and don't be mindful of the bar stretched across the back of you head. As for overall sound quality, I am satisfied. I have such raging tinnitus that I am a poor judge of audio fidelity. I can say that I can carry on a conversation while listening to great background music with these. Wearing them while bike riding is also a big plus because I can hear the traffic noise around me while listening to music. It's like the world now has my favorite background music playing wherever I go.

Great for listening to music or podcasts

This is an excellent choice for listening to podcasts or music. When talking on the phone this does not do as well for people hearing me on the other end of the phone. Knowing someone that has the opencomm, the opencomm does better for talking on the phone because of the optional mic.

Love these

I bought these, mostly because I despise ear buds. They never stay in very well so had been wanting to try these open ear headphones. They are the best purchase I have made in a long time. Sound is good. Comfortable. Battery is good. Would I buy these again? In a hot minute….yes!

So far so good

Sound is really good, I just wish it would go down just one more click (at least I can control that one click on my phone). I use these while taking care of my grandma, but I need to be able to hear her if she starts talking to me while I'm doing the chores around the house and she doesn't like music, it's annoying, I can't clean if I don't have some kind of emotional support noise (her house is too quiet!) I do wish the shokz did have touch control like the different buds I have do. It is a little inconvenient having to take out my phone for everything from pause to next song to anything in between. So far the signal hasn't broken up while being in my pocket as I'm walking like my usual Bluetooth devices, but I haven't done any heavy walking since I broke my foot recently. So time will tell. Fingers crossed. Now as to the fit. They are trying to slide into my ear even though I continue to position them where they need to go. And dude! My heads small. I didn't realize that until received these (ordered the mini). I guess the tragus of my ear is not shaped outward so as to keep them out of my ear? I'll keep playing with them to see

I do absolutely love these

I do absolutely love these headphones as they have a great sound and are very comfortable and great for running and biking. I do recommend that most people get the Mini as that it seems to be the normal fit. The regular is just too large. I will also say that I am on my third pair in just three years because the buttons do fail after a while.

Good Headphones!

I bought these headphones as a gift for my husband! He loves them. When asked why 4 stars he said, "There is always room for improvement!". He did not elaborate. But I will say I also have a pair and I love mine. They are comfortable and so easy to use. Would recommend!

Love them! Getting use to them.

Setup is as easy as it gets. Great for riding my bike and running. Sound is okay, but the quality of life and freedom they brought me are a fair trade-off. I don't know if I'm not experienced enough with them, but I can't seem to find a built-in technology that allows me to skip songs.

Any Shokz headset is so good

I chose mini, with usb-c option just so I don't have to bring many different adapters. Honestly I can't tell the difference in the sound compared to my “go to” Open air, both pretty good for bone conduction headphones. But OpenRun is made for activities, it is much refined design and smaller frame and feels a bit frimzy but time will tell how much beating it can take like the openair. But I like the volume buttons of OpenAir better.
