I am very happy with this purchase, using them x2 weeks now. Good sound, fast battery charging and good battery life- only have to charge once per week if I work out for 1.5 hours 6 days per week. Comfortable on my head, I am an average sized woman and chose the "mini" size. I definitely recommend this over other brands.

My OpenRun with the new small band fits great among all the other stuff on my head while biking - headband, helmet, glasses all nestle around or under or over the Shokz with no muss or fuss, it just all comes together easily when put on in the right order. I'm amazed at the comfort of the small band, even though I thought I had a big head. I did the measurements and came in just under the threshold so crossed my fingers and got the short band. Totally happy with that; believe the numbers on the tape when you measure. Of course, having my ears open lets me listen for traffic or birds or ice cream trucks while still being able to hear navigation instructions, music, podcasts, or fitness tracker prompts. The volume goes up high enough without getting "buzzy" to hear on all but the busiest fastest roads. My only ding on sound is that the microphone is not as good for office work as previous Shokz iterations - callers report to me that I sound more tinny and further away than I did on my previous OpenMove. The obvious answer to that is to get am OpenComm for work and just use the OpenRun when outside. The magnetic charging port is nifty and works great, and won't wear out like the insertable USB plugs do sometimes, but I'm a little worried about having just one little proprietary cord to keep track of and being stuck out in the world without it. With previous designs I could use a generic USB cord to charge up if needed. Anyone on the fence about these headsets just take the leap you will be so glad you did!

I’ve never been able to wear ear buds due to discomfort. My husband has had the Shokz headphones for a few years and they are attached to his head almost 24/7. Decided to treat myself and see what all the fuss is about. I love them! A joy to wear while cooking! A joy to wear out walking! Can still hear the traffic (which I want for safety) as well as hear the podcast! Genius. Thank you!!!

I have bought many pairs over the years and continue to use Shokz as my primary headphones. I am able to communicate clearly and easily with different people while in a busy setting. At play I spend a lot of time running on busy roads and the open ear design helps keep me safe. I will continue to purchase Shokz for myself and my family.

Found out about these from a co-worker and will never use anything else. I am on the phone almost all day and this allows me to hear myself so I am not talking super loud, like I do with over the ear headphones. You can hear the caller really well and the mic is so good about not picking up outside noise. The person on the other end only hears me. They are comfortable for a 9 hour day and I only have to charge them every other day. You won't regret your purchase.

I absolutely am enthused with my mini open runs. Great sound quality more than enough volume in tough situations. I used mine while riding mu Harley Triglide and was amazed. I actually at times had to turn down the volume. Excellent in the gym. Glad I found a pair to try before buying, as all 3 Best Buy in my area demo units did not work to that you could try before you buy.

I really liked the design of the open ear. I have always been sensitive to glasses or ear buds. They give me headaches. These were comfortable and lightweight. I did have to return them because I didnt see the mini strap size. Once I get the mini size, I should be all set!

I purchased the mini hoping it would be closer to the back of my head because when i use them for workouts the bigger one that i currently have gets in the way when i am doing floor work. The mini wasn't that much smaller and still gets in the way but I will continue to use them on walks and runs. Great product otherwise...

All earbuds and over-ear headphones are pretty uncomfortable for me. These have been very comfortable. The sound is good, sounds a bit like I'm underwater when I have earplugs in to sleep, but it's easier to hear than normal headphones with earplugs in. My only issue is that the sound has briefly cut out a few times, but it has come right back each time so far.

I definitely like the improved magnetic charging attachment. This is my third set of Shokz headphones and my only complaint is that Aubrey, who greets us when we power on and off, is not as loud as on my previous versions and wish I could hear her better. Contacted Skokz and they said this volume cannot be changed. That is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.
