The bone conduction works very good. In addition to using while exercising, I wear these with earplugs while cutting grass. The sound with earplugs in is better that specialty hearing protection headphones. The open ear aspect of these headphones is great for staying aware of your surroundings. I was hesitant to purchase these based on the price and reviews online about sound fidelity, but those concerns were allayed following my decision to buy these headphones. I have been pleased with my purchase and have recommended these to several friends and family members.

This is the best headset for walking, running or just every day phone conversations. It does not block outside sounds, but you hear your music, podcasts, books without disturbing people nearby. Also nothing in your ear to bother you, the sound is conducted though your facial bones. Pretty cool concept.

I am very happy with my purchase. I needed ear buds that wouldn't give up on me midway through a shift. The battery life on these earbuds is excellent. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good replacement set of earbuds that have long battery life and quality sound.

it confuses me when I'm driving and want to text or call holding the button to engage siri then he says "you will have to unlock your Iphone first". Kinda defeats the purpose of hands free. Really a frustration with the Shokz. The AfterShokz I had previously i was always able to do this no problem.

I love the open run Shocks. For my second pair I chose the smaller size. They fit me very well, my hair is long enough that they are not noticeable. I love being able to listen to podcasts and music all while I am busy doing life things. They last all day and to recharge them is very quick. Great product and I especially love that they do not fit in my ear canals. I have some hearing loss and the bone conduction works for me.

Ran my first pair into the ground after 4 years, and was happy to buy another set of Shokz. They stand up to a lot of abuse, sound good, stay in place during vigorous activity, and let you hear the world around you. Like that they have a USB-C option now; one less dang USB cable to keep around.

I bought the Shokz for my 80+ year old parents birthday gifts. They were thrilled! My dad will be 89 in a few weeks and he can hear so well with the Shokz. He has tons of music on his iPad and phone and can listen when he's doing yard work or just relaxing. My mom mostly listens to books and she can listen all day if she wants!

I have a love-hate relationship with these headphones. I love them for running and audiobooks. I hate them because they consistently fail about a month or two after the 2-year warranty expires. It's either a loose connection in one side or a broken power/volume button (this latter issue is all over the Internet, so it's a KNOWN problem). It shouldn't be too difficult to manufacture a product that lasts more than two years with careful usage…unless the idea is to manufacture a product that needs to be replaced every two years.

I absolutely love these headphones! My AirPods were constantly falling out of my ears and were difficult to charge. The Shokz headphones charge quickly, connect easily and stay perfectly in place during my runs. Despite not fitting inside the ears, the sound is really clear. I would 10/10 recommend these headphones!
