Headphones are great. I'm on

Headphones are great. I'm on my third pair. Only recommendation would be to add a feature to fast forward or rewind playback 15-30 seconds. Only 3 stars because the documentation is unnecessarily sparse. Why do this? Are these premium electronic devices or not? Type out some, you know, "words" and explain in detail how the unit functions.

Pretty darn good - even for work

These headphones are good - glad I bought them at the recommendation of a friend. In full disclosure, I don't really use them for their intended purpose (running). I needed to replace my headset for video conferences at work and wanted something small/discreet, lightweight, and with a decent battery life...these fit the bill. Pros: - battery life - I'm on MS Teams calls all day long (6-7 hours/day) and these can make it through on a fresh charge. If I do have to charge during the day, they top up pretty quickly (seems to be less than 30 minutes for a full charge) - very lightweight and comfortable to wear* - the mic seems to work well according to my coworkers & clients - discreet - small enough to be barely noticeable on video calls - neat little feature is the voice that tells you "charge me" when the battery gets very low (but it can startle you the first time the voice randomly speaks to you without prompting) - relatively easy Bluetooth pairing** and controls Cons: - *comfortable...to a point, that is. Not sure that they were intended for my extended usage but they do feel like they're pinching right in front of your ear after several hours. I end up feeling a fatigue similar to clenching your jaw too hard or for too long and wonder if that's the fit or a side effect of the bone conduction - **only pairs with one device at a time so you have to go through full pairing process again if, for example, you want to switch from your laptop to your phone - might be unique to my use case but these get in the way of using the headrest on my office chair. The loop between earpieces lays right where your head meets the headrest...can be pushed down but that moves the earpieces and reduces sound quality since it's not "bone conducting" properly (if that makes sense) - sound quality is "meh" to me (I typically use Pixel Buds II with my phone which has much better bass & depth of sound). That being said, my wife (AirPods user) tried these out and thought the sound quality was pretty good... Overall, happy with my purchase and they make my workday more comfortable. 4 out of 5 stars, would buy again. Maybe one day I'll actually use them for running!

I guess I have been

I guess I have been looking for this device for a long time. Didn't realize how uncomfortable my pods were and the constant adjustments necessary to keep them on. With these Shokz, I forget I'm even wearing them. Also, I want to be able to hear. These things are amazing, I can hear perfectly and yet hear whatever I'm playing just as perfectly. I love them.

Great for music and calls

We have been using these a few weeks and love them. I use when I'm gardening or walking...or any time I need to be able to take a call hands free. Husband shares them and likes them for calls as well as watching videos on his phone. We love that we can still hear what is going on around us and that these don't cover the ears. Pairing was easy. Distance away from phone seems quite far (by my standards). Learning the buttons, easy. I've yet to have them run out of charge and when I'm outside it'll be for 6+ hours. I do wipe them off at the end of the day just for sanitary reason since they sit right ahead of my ears on the cheek bones. We plan to buy a second pair so we each have our own. Do wish Sam's club sold the minis in something other than black as our next pair will be blue.

Love the new design! The

Love the new design! The Openrun mini fits so much better than old aftershoks mini. Sound quality is great! It would be nice if the headphones came with a hard case for better protection from being damaged. My old ones broke when they got sat on by accident.

More uses than I imagined

I have been on the fence about these headphones for ages before finally taking the plunge, as I hate stuff being in my ear. They are great I usually use them for running, but have also used them when studying and taking zoom calls. I was recently traveling (via plane) and found that the combination of my loop earplugs and my shokz was one of my best ideas.

For people of hearing and hearing lost

I love the material/teaxture on the product. Because of it's weight I forget its there I understand IF the band around the ear was tight it'd be uncomfortable however wish we could adjust the tightness. I have hearing loss in my left ear and need to press the "bud" close/tight to hear clearly. Over all, functionality is the best for all needs in music, call, etc.

Okay but

I have a pair of open fit and the sound is amazing, lost one ear bud, realized I should have corded earbuds, got the Open Run set and the sound is not near as nice as the the Open Fit which makes sense because the Open Run don't cost as much. Should have purchased the Open Run Pro and will next time I need a new head set.

Recommend

These are definitely better than my last pair! I got the open run, size small, and they fit better. Perfectly around my neck, but still a little big when I'm wearing them on my ears. I use them everyday while walking (generally an hour at a time), sometimes twice a day. The first week I had them I forgot to shut them off. Never had issues with them dying on me but I did recharge them just in case. Sound quality is good, I only use them for calls if I happen to get a call while on my walk. I definitely think this was a good upgrade!

Great product!

Third pair bought. Last one is a xmas present that hasn't been open yet. Don't expect any surprises though. However, I noticed that between, the first one and the second bought over a year after the first one, the latter had a simpler bag and did not have a 2nd charging cable which the first one came with.
