Delicate and uncomfortable

The concept is great since I don't like items in my ear. Delicate device. The bag provided is not very strong or protective of the device. After a few hours, it becomes very uncomfortable. I started to feel a little pain in my neck/ear area. After a few weeks, it stops charging. If you are providing a USB-type device please provide the capability to plug the device into a plug (power adapter). On the subject of charging - the company decided to use a magnetic type of charging device for the headset Bicmice ?. Not such a great idea, If you lose the magnet piece you are screwed. You would have to purchase a new cord. Why not make the charging piece a C charger or a more common type of USB?

Not sure

I'm having problems. The volume won't go up high enough for me to hear . It's very faint. And they are too loose on my head. I plan to use them for horse riding and they are so loose they're going to fall off. I am considering returning them for a refund as I don't know how to fix the sizing and volume.

Would not have bought had I known ....

I would not have bought these had I known these Shokz headphones are not compatible with tablets (ipads, etc). Using these while watching/listening to things on my tablet was the primary reason I bought these Shokz. I have used them while running and they have a nice sound and I like the way I can hear other noise while listening to music while running. I would also say I need a magnifying glass to see the "+" and "-" to turn them on. I don't find them easy to use.

Much better than older Aeroplex

This is my 2nd generation of these, I had the Aeropex from about 4 years ago. These are lighter, the sound is really WAY better (getting stereo effects nicely). However, the volume seems to be lower. The buttons are still a little difficult to find, especially the volume down (so I rated them only "good" for this below). The buttons are even harder to find if I am wearing light gloves. But, I don't usually need to change volume unless I'm doing a city street run, and there is lots of traffic (turn them up) or light traffic (turn them down). I got the minis which come in only two colors. Why? I would have really loved to have the minis in red, but had to settle for blue. These are a lot more comfortable than the previous versions, maybe because they are lighter. The magnetic charger is nice, when I'm sleepy, I don't have to hunt to figure out how to connect the charging cable; close is good enough, and it snaps right to! Charges fast and battery life is good for those long runs. Not sure it will make the ultra distance, but no problems with slow marathons.

My Favorite Device

So I originally had the open Move, which I loved. But spending the extra money on these is totally worth it! I wear these all day, every day, and somes time s to sleep. They arte so comfortable you don't realise you are wearing them. It's so nice to constantly have music playing in my head! Call quality is very good. I recommend these to everyone I know, and each person that has gotten them loves them just as much. The open ear design makes them perfect fo hearing others around you and listening to your favorite tunes. I 10000% recommend these to anyone.

Love the Open Run. Ear

Love the Open Run. Ear buds never stay in my ears so this headset is perfect. I also love that I can hear traffic around when I walk while using them. I have no sidewalks where I live, and the streets are rural meaning curvy and hilly. It is very important to hear the traffic. It is very comfortable and easy to use. I am 70 years old and even I could figure how to set up.

Overall I like the headphones.

Overall I like the headphones. Ive noticed there is a pretty big gap between my head and the back band. I wonder if the minis would have been a better fit for my head. I bought these for mtb and skiing so I usually have a helmet on when wearing the headphones.

I love the weight and

I love the weight and the sound quality. Still need to test the battery life on a solo long run. I was very disappointed when I realized it has a proprietary charger. The technology seems cool (magnets) but yet another unique charger to keep track of and lose was a disappointment for me.

So far these are pretty great

Generally I'm pretty pleased with my switch to Shokz. I wasn't sure if these were going to be for me but I'm getting used to them and enjoying the extra safety of still being able to hear. My main concern was the conduction style giving me headaches but nothing so far. I'm glad I got the mini as the cable behind the head would have been far more annoying if it was any longer. I do wish that cable wasn't a fixed one or at least be bent or flexed to be more out of the way (I have long heavy hair in a braid when I run and it would be nice to be able to adjust the cable to be closer to my head so the braid doesn't shift it). I occasionally have issues with the bluetooth connection cutting in & out but it's only happened a couple times so far.

My brother loves them and

My brother loves them and said sound quality is amazing, so since my Treks aren’t holding much of a charge anymore, I thought I’d give these a shot. Unfortunately OpenRun didn’t fit behind my ear properly with my hearing aids, so I had to return them. I have OpenMove now, and they fit better, but I can’t hear things as well with those as I could with my Treks. I have to turn them all the way up to hear things clearly but the vibration ends up hurting my head after a while. I hope they bring back the Treks at some point soon because those were perfect for me.
