Generally I'm pretty pleased with my switch to Shokz. I wasn't sure if these were going to be for me but I'm getting used to them and enjoying the extra safety of still being able to hear. My main concern was the conduction style giving me headaches but nothing so far. I'm glad I got the mini as the cable behind the head would have been far more annoying if it was any longer. I do wish that cable wasn't a fixed one or at least be bent or flexed to be more out of the way (I have long heavy hair in a braid when I run and it would be nice to be able to adjust the cable to be closer to my head so the braid doesn't shift it). I occasionally have issues with the bluetooth connection cutting in & out but it's only happened a couple times so far.

They fit great and I’m glad I got the minis, the measurements helped when deciding. I can run easily and not even notice I have them on, I can hear the music well but also everything around me, it’s great! I feel much safer and have already recommended them to several people.

This is my second pair. My first set have the microphone and I use that one for all my zoom calls. These are more comfortable and are great for being outside. Sound quality is good for podcasts but mediocre for music. Microphone quality is good and clear. The one thing I don't like is the proprietary charger. If it was usb-c compatible, they would rock even better.

I can't believe how high the rating is on these things! Maybe everybody only just listens to background music I guess. I am mostly disappointed in the integration of the Aftershokz and Siri. I'm going to return them after a week of use and miles of walking and biking. I have been using ipods for a year but they are uncomfortable (and have fallen out 3 times on my bike). The Aftershokz are extremely comfortable, very easy to wear, and sound 'ok', but are almost unusable for voice (unless you're in a very quiet environment, in which case they are acceptable). I got these for bike riding, and I would never be able to talk with them or dictate a text message on a bike. Even on a long walk with the dogs today, i could NOT ONCE get Siri to understand me after pressing the button and trying many times. I talked to 3 different people who all said at best, the sound quality was bairly usable (I had to repeat a lot), and it really wasn't a windy day. Most of all, 'Hey Siri' doesn't work at all (Hey Aftershokz - just fix 'Hey Siri' and that would be a great first step!) I'm a big Siri user and sadly, this product really doesn't integrate with that well at all. I am going to give the pro's a shot before throwing out the whole concept of these. 4 1/2 stars overall, I just don't get it!!!

These are pretty cool. I'm 6'2" and am able to wear these with Oakley Radar Advancers with no issues when out running. Sound quality is good while being able to hear immediate surroundings. Also very functional when taking calls out on runs. These function way better than an earbud if you're being active.

To this point, I enjoy my Shokz! They work great inside. I appreciate not having to have something stuck in my ear. The buds I have purchased in the past kept falling out. I haven't had a lot of chances to use them outdoors yet but the times that I have, it is tough to hear through them. Need to plug my ears then it's much better. Need to ask more questions of my callers on what they can hear in the background when I'm outside. Otherwise, I'm starting to see a lot of people wearing them.

Was my second Shokz headphone. Generally satisfied. Very light and fitted, definitely have improved the wearing experience. I give 4 star because it sometimes stops playing music for no reason. Once I unlock and check the phone the music resumes. It happens maybe 2 to 3 times a day. Not a big problem but really annoying.

I had an older generation of Shokz headphones that recently broke in my suitcase (my fault). This version is significantly lighter! I am not sure if they are more liable to break in a carrying bag but they'd be fine in a purse or other smaller carrying apparatus. The sounds quality is cleaner and clearer, if very slightly quieter than my older pair--a worthwhile tradeoff. Big fan in the first few weeks with the new pair!

I decided to use this to replace my Shokz openfit. It was a great design but giving me ear irritation. So I decided to try the open run. It is nice that I do not have a case to carry around however it is giving me the same ear irritation. I have a bone conduction earbud with the same design and a much cheaper price and does not give me ear irritation. I have another Shokz device which I cannot use when running. Yes it has great feature but I cannot use it giving it a one star

Definitely Maybe! Remember that movie? Ryan Reynolds puts fictional ear buds in his beautiful ears and walks to his daughter’s school. But wait, yikes, he almost gets hit by a bus. He turns around and mouths “Thank you,” to the guy who saved him. Both of them cannot hear anything except the music channeling through their plugged up ears. Well, those earbuds are no longer fiction, and getting hit by a bus can definitely happen anytime there’s one around. BUT, these Shokz bone-conduction ear phones are my dream come true. Open ears. No uncomfortable pressure points. No removing one when I need to hear someone talking to me. As far as sound quality it’s great unless it’s a really basey song. Also, if you’re in an extremely noisy situation and have to turn them WAY up they will vibrate against your head. (Like when you’re using a power sprayer to wash a bus;) However, if you’ve ever wished you could have your soundtrack playing while you go about your day looking as cool as Ryan Reynolds, this is the way!
