Overall I like the headphones.

Overall I like the headphones. Ive noticed there is a pretty big gap between my head and the back band. I wonder if the minis would have been a better fit for my head. I bought these for mtb and skiing so I usually have a helmet on when wearing the headphones.

I had an Aeropex product

I had an Aeropex product before and loved it. The OpenRun headphones lived up to the expectations and I am very happy with the performance of this product. I would definitely buy it again and would recommend anyone considering a set of headphones like these should consider these headphones.

I didn't even know that

I didn't even know that I wanted headphones until my husband got these for me to run in. I LOVE them! Not only do I wear them to run but I also wear them around the house while doing housework or talking on the phone. I wish I had gotten them sooner.

Husband loves it. Good sound.

Husband loves it. Good sound. He has a large head and says it’s too loose, doesn’t like the gap in the back. I also have one, but I have the mini, it is way too loose on me, huge gap in the back of my head. I have a very small head. Almost need to make another size smaller for adults with really small heads.

They feel different than the aeropex

I've got the regular aeropex before the name change. Then decided to finally get the mini size like i originally wanted but i feel like the volume just isn't the same like my other pair :/ I'm not sure why. They just don't sound as loud as the other pair. Don't know if it's the pie i got or maybe I'm just tripping but I'm kind of disappointed tbh. I guess they do their job but the old pair is better.

The on/off button needs to

The on/off button needs to protrude a little more since difficult to feel when on the road on my bike. Same goes for options button on left ear. Otherwise, excellent product, light weight and works very well. would recommend the "open run" to other cyclists.

Freedom from ear pain and wires!

Love these mini OpenRun Shokz!! No more ear pain from ear buds that don’t fit right. No more wires. Fast charging and great sound. Finally I can workout, hike or fish, and still talk with my husband without him having to yell or wave at me just to get my attention. Shokz has made me a believer in bone conduction technology. Thanks and we’ll done!

OpenRun vs. OpenRun Pro

We have both types. My wife has unusual earing loss. Instead of high frequency loss, hers is low frequency loss. The OpenRun Pro works better for her. I have some high frequency loss and the OpenRun works best for me. The Pro will give you a tickle in front of the ears if you have a LOT of bass and the volume high. It's not unpleasant but it is distracting. The OpenRun will also but much less so. We now have three: 2 OpenRun and 1 OpenRun Pro. (We bought four but the new puppy chewed one and it is quite dead. Interestingly my wife also has significant hearing loss in the left ear and in most headphones and earphones she still can't hear well in that ear. When she put on the Shokz bone conduction headset in a sports store kiosk, she was amazed she could hear equally well in BOTH ears. That sold us right there. I can't recommend them highly enough! BTW, if you want booming bass use plug earphones or full cover headset... and be ready for significant hearing loss by the time you are forty. I used to always have high-end stereos but it's all wasted on me now. I'm over 60 now and my most frequent response to a question is, "What?". Save your hearing as long as you can. Bad hearing affects everything, everyday.

Great customer service

I enjoyed the openRun battery life, sound, and how well they stayed put, but I think they were possibly too big. They hung off my ears and it hurt after a little while. I had to return them. Shokz was excellent about allowing the return, refunding, and sending a return label. I think I will try a different style

Love my headphones. They make

Love my headphones. They make my walks so much safer now that I can hear my surroundings. My only complaint is that the neck frame is too large for those of us with smaller heads. As a result it gets easily bumped and won’t stay in the proper position for good sound.
