Great tires

These tires have served as well over 86, 000mi. When we bought our 2012 Honda Odyssey, new, in that same year, we were impressed by the quiet ride, great traction on dry, wet, snowy conditions. Now at the end of their wear / tread life, we are buying a new set.

The only tire I'll buy

Aside from the fantastic handling and traction, these tires provide an unmatched ride comfort compared to other options. The only downside to these tires in my opinion is still another plus. My only issue is that the tread life is so long, the ride comfort eventually deteriorates, and you still have a lot of miles to go before the tires really warrant a replacement. It's a blessing and curse, but these tires are absolutely fantastic, and are worth the additional cost without any doubt in my mind.

Got me through three blizzards in first week

The team at Piper Glen in Charlotte recommended these tires right before I had to drive cross country. Thank goodness I did!!! We got stuck in three blizzards in one week, with one rerouting us for hours on rocky dirt roads, solid ice, and extremely hazardous conditions. I can't count how many times I thought about how glad I was that I had these tires on. They rode a tiny bit rougher than my old tires to begin with, but that was due to this being a heartier tire and I got used to it within a few days.

Great Tire - But Will Only Last 37,000 Miles

I bought these a year ago, two sets, one for my and my wife's vehicle. Tires perform well, Both get regular rotation and care and are wearing evenly however.... both, after about 23,000 miles show only 6/11 of tread left out of 11/11 originally, and the replacement threshold for safety is 3/11. This means both sets, based on 4,600 miles per 1/11 the wear, will be needing to be replaced about 14,000 miles from now, for a total of 37,000 miles. The mfg warranty will be pro-rated of course and cover some replacement costs

Don't do it

I just now have 20,000 miles on a 40, 000 mile tire, and mechanic suggested new tires!! No way!!! Tread life is awful!! Mechanic suggested no rotation, said I'd be wasting my money, for tread is low. I've always been a fan of Goodyear, but this tire is on my worst list.

PURE COMFORT

I am extremely thankful that CJ recommended these tires to me. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them. The comfortable ride, traction (wet or dry), and no road noise as I had with the other ones. I only want these tires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you CJ.......

I hate these tires!!

I brought these tires almost a year ago and hated them soon after I put them on my SUV. They are horrible in rain I live in Florida and it rains every day, if you slightly hit the gas they are slipping all over. They do not hold air, I find myself adding air all the time. They are loud way louder than the factory tires that were on the car. I spent almost over 700 on these tires and I wish I could get rid of them NOW!! I do not understand where these 5-star reviews come from these tires are horrible.

Great tire

In my history of using the Assurance all seasons, this is the best tire I have used. Compared to the base model of the tire... It is great especially in taking a hit to an unavoidable pothole. There have been may times I have went turtle mode in my car after hitting a pothole. These are a stronger tread, and I am glad I don't have to lose any time replacing one. They last a lot longer too! I may have to nearly full price on the next set! They hit their prorate mileage. That's even with me driving on numerous types of roads.

Max life, min fuel

After trying to convince my wife to get a working all-season from another company, then those tires coming from the warehouse with dry rot TWICE, we settled on the MaxLife. Our '21 Toyota Highlander hybrid (AWD, XLE) had Toyo OEMs that lasted 25,000 miles (300 UTQG) . That meant we weren't going to bother getting another set, and the knee-jerk reaction was to find the absolute longest tread life tire possible. Hello, MaxLife! Anyway, it took between 1,000 and 1,200 miles for these to really break in, but they are 90% as quiet and comfortable as the Toyos - which was the whole point of that OEM tire. There is a low, quiet rumble from them, and a really nasty pothole will get through, but they're a very solid all-season tire as far as comfort and noise, just a hair below the best touring all-season options. My fuel economy was 35-38 MPG from the OEMs and these get me the same MPGs now that I've gotten through the break-in period. (Note that my spouse gets 5-10 MPG less. Driving habits matter!) We can drive confidently in the rain, braking is very good considering we've not had any really close calls to test emergency braking. Just those stomp-on-the-brake-because-people-don't-understand-roundabouts and that-squirrel-made-a-panicked-run-for-it situations. We live in NC so we won't have a lot of snow to deal with. Have yet to try these on the trails we take in the mountains. Overall, while I wanted the fancy touring all-season tires, these make a lot of sense for the family hauler and road trip vehicle.
