Second time I purchased these. First bag were soft some turning black but I bought them again thinking just got a bad bag. But… I purchased them again and these are even worse!!! All turning black!!! Rotten Rotten Rotten!! How can they send these???!!! And have them on the shelf

I always buy the 5 pound bag of carrots when in stock. For our family, we like to peel them and slice them into carrot sticks. We placed them in a container in the refrigerator as an easy to go to healthy snack with a little bit of ranch dipping sauce.

Best carrots/carrot deal/value around! They’re great for many recipes like veggie or beef stew, carrot soufflé, carrot cake, and so many more! This is absolutely the best value for my dollar… And I need all the help I can get, since I’m on a fixed income.

Such a versatile vegetable with a very attractive shelf life. From the dinner plate to baking, carrots offer so much value, nutritionally and financially. Buying in bulk really helps make them a regular part of the budget.

I mostly feed these to my dogs in their food I make for them but I eat them as well. They aren't perfect shape nor very clean which is expected. My only complaint is that the ends can be gross so i cut them off, both ends. Mostly the plant part can be dead or starting to turn bad/wet/mush. Otherwise these are great and a decent price (could always be better though).

These carrots are great. This is one vegetable I can always have on hand that wont rot away in a short time in my refrigerator and I know they will be a dependable accessory no matter what vegetables are not in the house. I use them in everything I possible can. They are larger carrots so don't expect to invite people for dinner if you must have small delicate same-sized pretty veggies for the menu discerning set. I have found though they are large they are not damaged, woody, soft, or rotten. And so, far, I have found them to be very tasty. I scrub them thoroughly even before I peel them to double check that there is no dirt or etc. on the outside. Then I peel them. There is nothing wrong that you MUST peel carrots but I still do so, then they are shredded, sliced, etc. and plopped into whatever meal I am preparing. And I love the added color they add to whatever is cooking that day.

This size was absolutely perfect. I used it on a trip back east on the plane. It was perfect for carrying some snacks. My wallet my seat reservation everything I needed and while traveling and sightseeing I had a wonderful size bag for caring, my souvenirs, postcards, etc., and it kept the cold bottle of water cool for quite a while

Carrots are a great addition to any meal. You can add them to spaghetti sauce, beans, mashed potatoes and dessert recipes. They add wonderful nutritional value to your meals. You can even eat them as a snack. The tops and peels can be added to the garden to enrich the soil.

Less than pleased with a recent purchase of these carrots. Normally they're fresh and hold their flavor until eaten. However, one bag's carrots started turning black on the ends. The black did not penetrate the carrot or extend very far down the stalk, but it was unsightly. No odor. The carrots showing the problem were extensively trimmed and black parts thrown away. Less than pleased that 305 of the bag was not presentable or edible.
