These were very good apples. Crisp but not hard, sweet with a little tartness. A good all around apple.

Not as good as I hoped

I felt as if these tasted off, had a chem taste to them. Could've been me but they also have turned brown in the short time weve had them. Not rotten or soft, just brown inside.

Flavor is always great but more and more often I have noticed more of the apples have large squishy spots and holes. Even though I move the apples around in the bag to try and look for any. There always seems to be almost half the bag that has issues that i couldn't see

I have NEVER had this happen from Sam’s. The ambrosia apples are always delicious, but this time, there were like three good apples on the top and the rest were bruised and rotten. I would still recommend, because this was the first (and hopefully) only time.

These are not your Apple a day to keep the doctor away. I have been an avid buyer of Honey Crisp Apples for the sheer size and sweetness and overall quality of that type of apple. The Ambrosia apple is large, sweet, crunchy and a bit tangy a perfect combination for the many mouths in my household. 5 dollars for a 4lb bag of these delicious apples is a great deal. One honey crisp is typically 3.50/lb.

The sweetness scale rating was on-point! It us crispy & sweet, but not quite as sweet as Fuji apples, so the sweetness scale on the bag is accurate. I normally go for Fuji or Envy & sometimes Honey Crisp apples, but saw this & tried it, sunce it was priced lower than the other

rotten apples in the bag that could not be seen easily from inspection due to the way the label covers the bottom apples. I have never had an issues with these until now. Seems like these are not fresh apples, but rather old apples that have been in a warehouse for quite a while. I bought these on March 7th 2020. I live an hour from the nearest sams and am stuck with rotten apples. Not worth the hour to drive back for exchange or refund. That said, I have been buying this particular apple for a few years now because they are very good tasting and great with some peanut butter. This time though there were 3-4 bad apples in the bag on the bottom. I would suggest close inspection of apples in the bag before you leave the store. I will do this myself from now on.

Apples did not have much flavor. Texture was crisp.
