The perfect amount of yumminess!

I absolutely love our mini pie maker! I've already made apple, rhubarb, and pumpkin pies for desserts and bacon/egg and sausage/egg breakfast pies. And I've only had it a couple of weeks!

Mini Pie Maker

I love this. I made a bunch of cheese burger pies and froze them. They are the perfect size for a single person or single serving. They are about 4 inch pies. And the teal color is perfect for my kitchen

Well made item. I use it frequently to bake a single biscuit for breakfast. It is perfect. Once it's baked, I add a sausage patty along with a little mustard and a dab of strawberry jelly...its delicious! If very hungry, I bake a second one while enjoying the first! And I'm all for not having to heat up the kitchen oven. Mini fruit pies bake nicely in it too. Just be sure to add enough filling so the top crust touches the upper plate for baking. And you can do much more. if possible, take a few minutes and watch Ken Click YouTube videos for ideas on how he uses the Dash products...the Dash griddle is also a nice item. It makes nice egg patties for breakfast biscuits and much more. (I need to try to make a hash brown patty.) I would repurchase Dash items without hesitation ... good value, good performance.

Best new gadget yet!!!

I absolutely 💯 LOVE my new dash mini pie maker! I've been using it to make keto pot pies by using zero carb tortillas as crust

Maikes biscuits ok.

I like it because it makes biscuits and heats to 350 degrees. I have the Egg Bite maker, but it only heats to 320 degrees.

Needs improvement

I have a pecan pie and found that I needed to preheat the filling for it to cook properly before the crust was burned. The crust bakes quickly and the filling needs more time.

Fun and different

Cute and easy to operate however, the top crust doesn't cook evenly on the top, especially in the center. I started cutting designs in the center of the top crust which removed a lot of the raw crust. Still some areas that don't cook. I used a brand name pie crust and rolled it out thin, per mnfg. directions. I got 7 double crust pies from two rolls of pie dough.

Disappointing

Edges burn, and I can't get the center of the top crust to cook. I called the maker of the little cooker to see if I was doing something wrong and basically I was told sorry. Disappointed.

Hello Kay. We are so sorry to hear about your experience with the Dash Mini Pie Maker. For best results, we recommend bringing your pie crust and filling to room temperture prior to using. We also advise to add filling up to the top edge of the Mini Pie Maker before placing the top crust on your pie. As it cooks, the filling will push the top crust against the upper cooking surface for an even finish. We have additional tips and tricks in our included recipe guide however if you do not have one, please reach out to our support team at support@bydash.com so we can send you one. Hope this helps!

Doesn't work

The top is raw dough and the edges are burnt. If you add more filling so dough reaches domed top, it leaks out. I wetted edges of bottom crust so top dough would stick to bottom but it still comes apart. I used 3 times with no improvement. Tried to add photos but that doesn't work either.

Hello! Thank you for purchasing the Dash Mini Pie Maker. If you are having trouble getting the top of the pie crust to bake evenly, we’d first suggest checking that you are adding enough pie filling to make the top pie crust touch the top cooking surface. We’d also recommended preheating the pie maker and using room temperature dough for best results. Lastly, you may also try using puff pastry as your crust, this type of dough rises differently, and we’ve found it can often cook more evenly throughout. If none of these troubleshooting tips help, please reach out at bydash.com/help. Thank you!
