Dash Safe Slice Mandoline, Choose Color

I got this from my husband for Christmas because I garden and can a lot. This has made my life so much easier!!!! Fries are stupid easy and perfect.

The safe slice mandolin is great to use and totally safe, It also has multiple ways to adjust the sloicer for your exact needs.

no finger cuts

Just bought the mandolins so can’t rate at this time. Once I use it, I will update my review. Very excited to use this product.

Can’t wait to use....

It was a Christmas gift and I haven’t had a chance to use it. I’m very excited to try it it looks like it’ll work very well.

It's a Dash!

love the safety aspect of this slicer but it definitely takes getting used to compared to more traditional designs.

good so far

The numbers in the back are quite difficult to see. I used it but couldnt get the setting I wanted. It did a good job slicing the onion.

Safe SliceMandoline

I found it difficult to figure out how to adjust blades for different sizes but once I got it, I got it!!

Finally a mandoline that does what it says!!

I didn’t like it. It is very well made, but I did not like using it. I bought it so I wouldn’t cut myself using the mandolin I currently have. I tried slicing onions and shredding carrots. The carrots came out ok, but it didn’t work very well on the onions. There’s no way to get ring slices. I really thought I was going to love this, but I returned it

Well made but isn’t as easy was it looks

I previously owned a mandoline which was the kind where you used the holder to slide the food item you were slicing, and you'd slide the food back and forth over the blade. I loved being able to slice perfectly even slices so quickly. But I only ever did one thing with it, slices, because you had to change blades, and it was just too complicated. It worked for what I needed to do. But last fall, I was going too fast and not using the guard, and I sliced off part of my little finger. I used it a couple of times after that, but then I saw this Dash Safe Slice Mandoline, and I had to have it. It's truly awesome! My fingers don't get near the blades, and I can change the way I cut my food with a turn of the dial and/or rotating the knobs. I've never in my life made homemade french fries, and now I've done it with my Dash Safe Slice Mandoline so easily and so fast! It has a bit of a learning curve on how to get the food cut the way you want it, but it can slice, julienne, dice, etc., and it's one of the biggest helps in the kitchen I have ever had. I love mine, and I highly recommend it!
