Love it!

This Mandoline is amazing!

I thought I would use this.  Scored it on sale and frankly hate it.  Too gadgetty for me.  Too many pieces, not intuitive.

Hmph

This works great.   Stuff gets into the very last blade on either side and the brush cant get it. Need a solution.  Could improve instructions on the type of slice by marking on back what to do.

More than expected

I thought it was very hard to wash. That is my number one concern with products. It did not pass my ease of clean-up test. I returned it the next day.

Didn't love

I love how easy and straightforward this mandolins is. There aren’t a bunch of parts to keep track of. I love that I don’t have to worry about my fingers getting cut

Safe and effective

It seems to be fairly well made. I’ve only used it once as I just got it for Christmas as a gift. Set up is easy and seems like it will work well for what I’m using it for!

Just got it but like it so far ...

I was craving sweet potato fries and the Dash Mandoline worked awesomely. I broke my arm a few weeks ago so I had to use the mandoline one handed. Not difficult at all. :)

So Easy to Use

Have not used but one time so far. Easier cleanup than it looks and much safer than my old slide slicer. Will update my review as time goes by. William

Safe slice Mandoline

I didn’t like it. It is very well made, but I did not like using it. I bought it so I wouldn’t cut myself using the mandolin I currently have. I tried slicing onions and shredding carrots. The carrots came out ok, but it didn’t work very well on the onions. There’s no way to get ring slices. I really thought I was going to love this, but I returned it

Well made but isn’t as easy was it looks

I previously owned a mandoline which was the kind where you used the holder to slide the food item you were slicing, and you'd slide the food back and forth over the blade. I loved being able to slice perfectly even slices so quickly. But I only ever did one thing with it, slices, because you had to change blades, and it was just too complicated. It worked for what I needed to do. But last fall, I was going too fast and not using the guard, and I sliced off part of my little finger. I used it a couple of times after that, but then I saw this Dash Safe Slice Mandoline, and I had to have it. It's truly awesome! My fingers don't get near the blades, and I can change the way I cut my food with a turn of the dial and/or rotating the knobs. I've never in my life made homemade french fries, and now I've done it with my Dash Safe Slice Mandoline so easily and so fast! It has a bit of a learning curve on how to get the food cut the way you want it, but it can slice, julienne, dice, etc., and it's one of the biggest helps in the kitchen I have ever had. I love mine, and I highly recommend it!
