I have driven the 8 hour trip from Ohio to South Carolina countless times and these tires are quite and smooth. I have had excellent control at high speeds through deep puddles (they aren't prone to hydroplaning), I have driven on muddy gravel hunting roads in the mountains of North Carolina and never had traction issues, I have gotten through up to a foot of snow with no issues, and never gotten stuck as long as I have had them. Overall I think they are a great tire if you want to have street tires that can get you through some occasional off road use. The only reason I rate the traction with four stars is because they aren't an all terrain tire and occasionally they slip on wet pavement in you try to accelerate quickly from a stop.

This is my second set of tires on this vehicle, this set of Firestone Destinations that I have purchased over the years. Can't say enough about them. The old Michelin's were hard and slippery, these Destination LE3 completely transformed the ride of my truck and instill confidence once again that it can go through anything I need it to. Admittedly, I have a very limited experience so far with these tires to offer a comprehensive review but so far, so good. I needed to replace the factory included Dunlops on my RAV4 and with the vehicle being one of THE most popular on the roads today, there are a myriad of tire choices so there was a lot of comparing to do. I've always like Bridgestone/Firestone tires and have had good experiences with them over the years so I focused on their offerings. The Destination LE3 seems to have the best combination of value, expected tire life and confirmed performance in most weather conditions. I hope they don't let me down but so far they seem to be a great option.

I bought these for the first time about 3 years ago since it had a deal around thanksgiving. Works nice in winter and summer. We take our highlander everywhere when we travel so they worn out but bought them again last month because I like the way it ride plus there's always deals on them. Great tire for any season we'll definitely buy again once it comes time.

Outer and inner tread wore before the center. I had alignment checked and it was great from the time we got them till now. I have proof to show it. Tire pressure stayed the same the whole time"I have tpms sensors". In the snow they had a hard time taking off at a stop. We bought them last year and I have 2 tires that need replaced and two that are getting close.

I have the previous LE 2 on my other vehicle and I am so pleased I went with these LE 3 on our second vehicle. Much more quieter then the original tires and although we haven't had them long we are pleased so far. The Firestone dealer was great as well. Used the web site to order and make appointment and was serviced upon arrival.

These tires can't handle the tining (groves carved into the concrete in the direction of travel) of a large amount of Iowa roads. These groves in the road are supposed to improve drainage and provide more traction. Unfortunately, with these tires, there is too much traction. Steering is difficult and exhausting if traveling on a long stretch of highway. The car shifts all over, making an extremely uncomfortable ride. At one point, after 1.5 hours of driving, an alarm went off on my dashboard telling me I need to keep both hands on the wheel. I DID have both hands on the wheel for the entire 1.5 hours in order to keep the vehicle on the road. These are my first Firestone tires, previous tires I have owned never had this issue. I heard they might need to be "broken-in," so I have given them a chance. 5,000 miles later, there is no improvement. I have had everything else on the car that could be causing the problem checked out - alignment, suspension, etc. No issues, just the tires. I have been to the tire dealer to see if they could help me with getting different tires, like maybe some credit since the tires aren't very old - I thought Firestone would have some sort of customer satisfaction built into their warranty. The dealer said there is nothing they can do, I will have to buy new tires if I don't like them. I will definitely have to get new tires, I can't take another 50,000+ miles of this. I will NOT buy Firestone again! If you travel on tined highways, avoid these tires!

Got these tires about a week ago and they have performed well in dry and rainy conditions so far. Only driven about 500 miles or so on them but provide quiet ride and with the 70,000 mile Treadwell warranty hoping for durability and long trend life. Tires were reasonably priced and the Firestone who put them on did a great job on balancing tires and replacing my old tires within about an hour as I had an appointment. Thanks Firestone!

So far I really like these tires, Handle well in the wet so far. Will try them in the snow soon. Hoping these tires last a long time like my last bridgestone/firestone tires.

I never bought Firestone tires before, but these are great! I feel like I am driving a new car. These are so much better than the Goodyear tires I was buying. I would highly recommend these Firestone tires.
