I have tried all of the variants (Caskmates, Barrels, Etc.) and I keep coming back to the original. If I want spicy I go with a stiff Rye or a banging Bourbon. As the Irish go, smooth and sweet is Jameson original. The others cannot compare so far as my tongue says. So many whiskeys and I've invested the time to reveal the moods of my personal palate. Ten or so basic whiskeys top my list of standards and Jameson original is among them. In keeping with the guidelines, I won't mention specific competitors, but the top ten include 4 Canadians (three from the same manufacturer, including the Best Whiskey Ever), 2 Irish (including Jameson original), 2 Bourbons, a Japanese, and a Scotch. I have sampled nearly 200 different whiskeys and am proud to enjoy Jameson original.

I thought I was allergic to alcohol for a long time. Then I went to an Irish pub and they recommended Tullamore Dew. Not a huge fan, but it was ok. Then it was Jameson was suggested. I now can go out and have a drink that I love as well as it not making me feel ill. I also use it in cooking. By far the best of the best Irish whiskeys.

Had one of the best nights drinking Jameson and ginger. The Jameson reps came to our local bar and were passing out shots and merchandise. My friends and I had the best time dancing and cutting loose. I had sweatpants and a large Jameson t-shirt on and had zero cares in the world.

I thought I wouldn't like whiskey. But I tried this at the bar. Some girl I didn't even know bought me a shot of Jameson and they served it with a shot of pickle juice to follow it with. It was so smooth. I just couldn't believe it. I definitely would recommend this to other people and to try new things!

It’s one of those alcoholic beverages that I have to be in the mood for. It goes down SMOOOTH! I don’t drink it too terribly often because of the way it makes me feel after, but it’s definitely delicious. It also isn’t that terribly expensive either. You can find it in most restaurants and bars as well. 

When your younger you want to go out and party the night away with your friends. As you get older you realize what's really important. The true people who have your back, and low key relaxing with something special like Jameson Irish Wiskey. It's all about the experience .

This whiskey is definitely not my drink of choice, but a fair "budget" whiskey for occasions. I find to be more popular with younger crowds. Jameson Whiskey is quite harsh, that I personally don't even find enjoyable even in mixers. There is not much of a barrel flavour in this whiskey. Overall, I would not recommend.

Now to start this, whiskey used to be the last thing I would ever drink. After going to the Jameson distillery in Ireland however, I realized how delicious Jameson really is compared to all of the others out there! Absolutely delicious and didn't make me want to cry. Pair it with some ginger ale and lime and you have an amazing mixed drink!

As a Kentuckian, bourbon is our pride and joy, so there’s a bias when it comes to other American whiskeys, or other international liquors. Scotch whiskey - still haven’t tried. But one St. Patrick’s Day I decided to do an Irish stew; since I’m not a Guinness fan, I went with one recipe containing Irish Whiskey and decided this was my chance to try Jamieson. So I ended up trying the brand three different ways. And I was hooked! First, as far as the stew, it was an addition that kicked up the flavor a bit without overwhelming the meat, the vegetables or the base. Next I went with a cocktail: Irish Lemonade and an Irish Paloma, and the mellowness of the Whiskey came through, the vanilla and nuttiness playing off the citrus. It wasn’t overly potent. Everything was balanced. Finally came trying it straight, the real test, and this is when I became a fan. It’s as described: very smooth on the tongue, smooth going down and none of the burning. I didn’t taste a lot of the spice, but the nuts and vanilla were present but evened out each other. It was something I could sip in the evenings, straight or on the rocks. So three different ways to use Jameson's, each of them wonderful. I don’t buy it enough and I need to. It’s not only for St. Patrick’s Day.

this is my favorite liquor to take shots off. it goes down pretty easily and is pretty cheap. you can just take this and have some lime and salt on the side and it goes down quite nicely. I love jameson and my  coworkers can  attest to it to and we do recommend it to others! Who doesn't love a shot of Jameson?!?
