They are not only stronger but they work better. I have even put them through the washer and dryer not knowing and they did not break apart.

I was so pleased to get this. This is a household staple in our home. The only paper towels we ever buy because they are strong, absorbent, and durable. They work to pick up spills and messes. As well as dry dishes, pots, & pans. You can use as a napkin or a wash cloth as well. So versatile!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can I tell you. I only use bounty in my home. There is no paper towel that is better. I have tried them all. I like the select a size because I can adjust what size I need. Having a large family dictates lots of messes. So some times I have big messes when the 10 year old thinks he can cook and make kool aid by himself. And then there are times when I just need to wipe up the counter. Bounty has just what I need to get the job done the first time around.

Sometimes when I use the Select-a-Size product, I think it is Bounty selecting the size -- at least one more sheet than I want. Virtually each time I go to tear off a sheet, the perforations at one end (the way I use the roll with the new sheet coming off the top) - to my right, are not adequate to just tear off the sheet. I will either get about a half to 2/3rds of the single sheet I want, or at least 2 sheets. If I want 2 sheets (basically a regular full sheet on other rolls) I end up with an additional chunck because it won't tear cleanly. I have noticed this problem on a regular basis and wonder if the production cutters are bad, or if Bounty is really using the Select-a-Size as a ploy to just sell more towels.

I love Bounty. I've used it for years. Now that I can pick my size, it makes it even more convenient. It's especially nice for getting the little needed swipes across my grandbabies faces. I try to buy bargain brands on a lot of items; but on paper towels, I won't budge on anything but Bounty...neither will my husband.

When I was growing up, Bounty was used as a dish towel for drying, dish rag for cleaning pet bowls so you don't have to use dish detergent, coasters, a decorative arm rest on her favorite chair, facial tissue, toilet paper (as an emergency replacement in small amounts), decorative handkerchiefs, table placemats, wash cloths, polishing cloths for wood furniture, hair rollers (coat with oil sheen and use to create tight spiral curls in ethnic hair), a must have for every car trip and outing with the family, etc. She wouldn't just carry a few sheets, she would carry a whole roll...She still has to have a roll in every room of the house to this day.

The select-a size is perfect for any size of a spill and I tend to use less because some spills don't need a full towel which makes Bounty economical as well as durable. I use them for any and all cleaning projects I have.

The quality of this product is amazing and a little goes a long way. I use it to clean up messes, wipe the counters, and wipe windows/mirrors. It is nice and thick without feeling awfully heavy.
